After a prolonged engagement that lasted for days, operational forces have completely extinguished the fire outbreaks that had engulfed several areas of Kruja. Firefighting teams, Armed Forces personnel, and other support groups deployed in the field took part in this extensive operation.

The work to neutralize the flames continued without interruption even during the darkness, both from the air and from the ground.

At first light, the teams began a detailed inspection of each point to avoid the possible rekindling of any dormant hotspot.

At the end of an exhausting battle, authorities announce that all fire fronts have been brought under control and the situation in the affected areas is now stabilized.
