Kamëz/ At around 3:00 a.m., citizen Y. T., aged approximately 41, notified the Operations Room that in Laknas, on “Lunxheria” Street, he had heard a noise and then discovered that his vehicle, which was parked in the yard of his home, had sustained minor damage to the mirror and the driver’s door.

Preliminary findings indicate that an as-yet unidentified individual allegedly threw a small amount of an explosive substance at the vehicle, causing minor material damage.

The investigative team, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify and apprehend the perpetrator or perpetrators.

According to Kosovo Police, the report about the case was received at around 18:00.

Police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti, said the responsible units handled the case and that, after the checks carried out, no device or suspicious element was found.

“The information was handled by the police. After the checks carried out by the competent units, nothing suspicious was found. Police investigators, in coordination with the state prosecutor, have begun work to clarify all the circumstances related to this case, which has been classified as a false report,” she said.
