During the outage, media freedom and human rights organizations, journalists, European representatives and international partners expressed their support for Euronews Albania, calling for transparency and a full explanation of the situation.

Euronews Albania has thanked all the individuals and institutions that responded, cooperated and contributed to addressing the issue.

Although the profile’s restoration is a positive development, it remains important to determine the reason for the suspension and ensure that reporting systems on social media platforms are not abused to obstruct the work of the media.

A 40-year-old man lost his life and another person was seriously injured after they allegedly came into contact with an electrical current outside a bar-café in the village of Karmë, Vau i Dejës.

According to preliminary police information, the victim was Sokol Preka, a security guard at a bar-café owned by Gj. S. David Deda, 46, who works as an electrician, is also suspected of having come into contact with the electricity.

Preka died on the way to the hospital, while Deda remains in serious health condition.

Under the direction of the Prosecution Office, the investigative team is continuing its work to establish and document the full circumstances of the incident.
