Bedri Hamza was the first to respond positively to this invitation, while Lumir Abdixhiku needed more time to return a positive response, while also setting several conditions.

On the other hand, AAK’s Ardian Gjini rejected Kurti’s invitation.

In these circumstances, the question remains what this meeting between Kurti and opposition leaders can produce in Kosovo’s current political situation.

On this issue, Prof. Dr. Enver Bytyçi spoke to ‘Bota sot’. He said that the Central Election Commission finally announced the results of the June 7 vote. According to him, the CEC could have done this earlier, but, as he says, Albanians do not treat time properly.

“For me there was a kind of delay, because I believe this commission has the ability to make it possible for the creation of institutions to begin more quickly. But we Albanians, it seems to me, value time the least. And in fact time is what should be valued more than anything else. ‘Come on, we have time!’ That is the metaphor we use. Albanian election commissioners are the same,” he says.

According to Bytyçi, this is the third consecutive time Kurti has invited opposition leaders to a meeting, after two previous unsuccessful attempts since the last elections.

“One day after the announcement of the election results, the head of the majority, Albin Kurti, sought talks with the leaders of the parliamentary parties, with the aim of creating the institutions. This is the third time Kosovo’s political leaders are training for this process. The previous two times failed very successfully. The first time, after the February 9, 2025 elections, they failed to form the government. The second time, to elect the president. This time the challenge is again the election of the president, because the Assembly presidency and the government can be elected only with the votes of the majority,” Professor Bytyçi told ‘Bota sot’.

He stresses that it is precisely the lack of votes to elect the president that makes cooperation between the majority and the opposition necessary.

“Not only the need, but the necessity of this cooperation. So the head of state can only be the product of an agreement. That is why Kurti made the relevant invitation. But will the opposition leaders respond positively to this invitation? AAK has shown itself ready to take part in the meeting with several conditions, according to it. It has not made these conditions public. If it is about selecting a non-partisan candidate, or at least one acceptable to all sides, and if AAK has a specific name in mind, this would be the greatest help this party could give, even though it is small in its representation in parliament,” he emphasizes.

The professor says the current situation seems even more difficult to him than the one after the December 28 elections last year.

“In the PDK I see that the PRONTO clan, or the manipulative, extortionist and insatiable clan, also frightened by the reaction of justice, is a grouping that accepts no compromise with Vetëvendosje, the Guxo List and Alternativa. They have only one objection and one fixation: to block indefinitely the creation of institutions in the hope that the head of this clan will return to Kosovo and then, according to them, they will change the balance of power in their favor. At most, this clan would want a president who would be ready to block all legal initiatives for justice reform,” he says.

However, according to him, there are quite a few deputies in the Democratic Party of Kosovo who want Kosovo’s institutional stability and, consequently, naturally support a possible agreement, as well as talks on this with Kurti.

“If the PDK were ready for an agreement that would also include electoral reform, then the creation of institutions would be easily achieved within a week. But I see no possibility of this happening, because of what I said above. The scores of this party still have decision-making power, even imposing power, and they have no interest whatsoever in giving Kosovo institutional stability. That is why Bedri Hamza has still not spoken out, he still has not given a response to Mr. Kurti’s invitation. If he responds positively to the invitation, then he should go with concrete proposals. Because it is not a solution to go to a meeting and tell the head of the majority: ‘What are you thinking?’” he underlined.

Further, Bytyçi says that the Democratic League is also facing internal divisions because of its chairman Lumir Abdixhiku’s successive election losses.

According to him, conservative currents within this party are demanding, perhaps rightly, Abdixhiku’s removal from the leadership of the LDK.

“As a result, the head of the LDK does not find it easy to make a clear and firm decision. What will he do? He himself does not believe he has the support of all his deputies to make an agreement with Mr. Kurti. If he lacks even two deputies for this, he has no power to sign an agreement, because 80 deputies in the hall for the election of the president cannot be guaranteed,” he says.

For all these reasons, the professor considers the process of forming the new institutions to be difficult.

“A considerable number of elected deputies are in parliament to protect personal or clan interests and not the interests of Kosovo. The leaders of the two major parties are increasingly weak leaders who have no decision-making power. Meanwhile, Kurti should from the outset present public proposals on how the names of the candidates should be determined and on the criteria that should be applied. In this way he becomes credible to the public and beyond contestation from the opposition,” he says.

In a statement to “Bota sot,” Professor Enver Bytyçi said that since these protests began, Rama has responded to the protesters with insults and labels, while according to him their demands are tied to the prime minister’s resignation, the creation of a transitional government, and the holding of early elections.

“From the first day until today, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has been busy with labels and insults against the 31-day protest of Albanian youth and citizens against him. The protesters are demanding the prime minister’s resignation. They want a technical or one-year transitional government, so that early elections can be prepared. The causes of the protest are many. Above all, it is Edi Rama’s failed governance and stopping efforts to alter the property and territory of Albania.

This protest was ignited by the Gërdec case. Rama initially offered dialogue. But the protesters demanded his resignation and he gave up on dialogue. At first he thought he was dealing with a protest that he could manipulate, as he did with the student protest and almost all the other protests that have taken place in Albania. Under these conditions, Rama began individual and collective attacks with insults, slander, accusations, and fabrications about espionage, people with criminal records, etc.”, he said.

Bytyçi further stated that the prime minister is under strong pressure because of the protests and is trying not to lose the support of Western partners.

He also added that Rama is facing criticism in the international arena as well.

“According to various sources, he is stressed because he is unable to control the powerful movement against him and is not managing to manipulate it. Today, at a forum in Germany, he said that ‘A government that stops listening stops governing’! I am sure this statement was a glove thrown out to calm European partners, specifically the Germans. To tell them that ‘I am not a dictator,’ that ‘I am ready for dialogue,’ that ‘I am capable of finding common language with the protesters,’ etc. That is to say, Rama appears to have an insurmountable problem with the Western factor. Donald Trummp’s administration, according to the news agency ‘ROJTER,’ is considering the possibility of canceling the NATO summit in Tirana, planned to be held next year in 2027. Europeans come and speak against Edi Rama at protest rallies in Tirana. Last Monday there were 5 MEPs, who took the floor and condemned Edi Rama’s governance,” he said.

According to Bytyçi, the protests are also centered on the demand to repeal several laws, as well as Rama’s removal, while the dissatisfaction, according to him, is also linked to the issues of Sazan and Zvërnec.

He also mentioned Rama’s ties to Soros.

“The essence is the repeal of four laws that Edi Rama pushed through parliament on his orders as head of the majority, namely the law on strategic investors, on protected areas, on cultural heritage areas, and the Mountain Package. But also resignation and new elections. Sazan and Zvërnec became the spark for the emergence of dissatisfaction and the beginning of the protests. Sazan has been given to the son-in-law of President Donald Trump, namely Jarad Kushner. The same with Zvërnec. According to the data presented at the protest, it was Edi Rama who volunteered himself to give the island and Zvërnec to members of the Trump family, hoping that by connecting with them he would secure the support of the White House.

But unfortunately for Rama, this is not working. Because Edi Rama is the chief godfather of George Soros Senior and his son, Aleks, who are seen by Trump as his main opponents. Even for the American Senate and Congress midterm elections to be held in November, Soros has allocated more than 100 million American dollars to help Donald Trump’s opponents. Rama’s friend is fighting against Trump, while Rama himself is selling pieces of Albania to befriend the American president. This game is dangerous not only for Albania. It is also dangerous for President Trump himself, because the sale of Albanian territory to his son-in-law is turning into an effective weapon against Mr. Trump’s Republican Party and he may lose in the next midterm elections,” he added.

In the end, Bytyçi stressed that Rama is under pressure from both the protests and the international community.

According to him, the prime minister is simultaneously facing risks related to contracts with criminal groups, while he described the situation as dangerous both for him and for the country.

“Edi Rama is between two fires. The fire of the protesters, who are determined in their demand for his resignation. And the fire of European anger because of the sale of Sazan Island, which they see in the future as a possibility for a powerful anti-European military base to be built there. Which of these fires will engulf him in flames remains to be seen. I believe both of these fires will. However, there is also a third fire, which seriously threatens the physical existence of the prime minister of Albania. These are the contracts he has made with drug cartels from Colombia and Mexico to Europe, the Balkans, and Albania. If these contracts are not fulfilled by him, they will cost him his head. If he resigns, it means the drug cartels will punish him for betraying them. Therefore Prime Minister Rama has chosen to betray the interests of Albania!”, Bytyçi concluded for “Bota sot”.

Prej më shumë se një muaji, qytetarët shqiptarë kanë dalë në protestë duke kërkuar largimin nga detyra të kryeministrit Edi Rama.

Në një prononcim për “Bota sot”, profesori Enver Bytyçi u shpreh se, që nga nisja e këtyre protestave, Rama ka reaguar ndaj protestuesve me fyerje dhe etiketime, ndërsa sipas tij kërkesat e tyre lidhen me dorëheqjen e kryeministrit, krijimin e një qeverie tranzitore dhe mbajtjen e zgjedhjeve të parakohshme.

“Që nga dita e parë e deri më sot kryeministri i Shqipërisë, Edi Rama, është marrë me etiketime dhe fyerje për protestën 31 ditore të rinisë dhe qytetarëve shqiptarë kundër tij. Protestuesit kërkojnë dorëheqjen e kryeministrit. Duan një qeveri teknike ose tranzitore njëvjeçare, me qëllim që të përgatiten zgjedhjet e parakohshme. Shkaqet e protestës janë shumë. Mbi të gjitha është qeverisja e dështuar e Edi Ramës dhe ndalimi i përpjekjeve për ta tjetërsuar pronën dhe territorin e Shqipërisë.

Kjo protestë mori flakë nga rasti i Gërdecit. Rama në fillim ofroi dialog. Por protestuesit i kërkuan dorëheqjen dhe ai hoqi dorë nga dialogu. Mendoi në fillim se kishte të bënte me një protestë, të cilën mund ta manipulonte, siç ka bërë me protestën e studentëve dhe thuajse me të gjitha protestat e tjera që janë bërë në Shqipëri. Në këto kushte Rama filloi sulmet individuale dhe kolektive me fyerje, shpifje, akuza dhe trillime për spiunazh, njerëz me rekorde kriminale etj”, ka thënë ai.

Më tej, Bytyçi deklaroi se kryeministri ndodhet nën presion të fortë për shkak të protestave dhe se po përpiqet të mos humbasë mbështetjen e partnerëve perëndimorë.

Ai shtoi gjithashtu se Rama po has edhe kritika në arenën ndërkombëtare.

“Sipas burimeve të ndryshme ai është i stresuar, sepse nuk po mund ta kontrollojë lëvizjen e fuqishme kundër tij dhe nuk po ia arrin ta manipulojë atë. Sot tha në një forum në Gjermani se “Një qeveri që pushon së dëgjuari, pushon së qeverisuri”! Jam i sigurt se kjo deklaratë ishte një dorashkë për të qetësuar partnerët europianë, përkatësisht ata gjermanë. Për t’u thënë atyre se “nuk jam diktator”, se “jam i gatshëm për dialog”, se “jam i aftë të gjej gjuhën e përbashkët me protestuesit”, etj. Dmth Rama duket se ka një problem të pakapërcyeshëm me faktorin perëndimor. Administrata e Donald Trummp, sipas agjencisë së lajmeve “ROJTER”, po shqyrton mundësinë për ta anuluar samitin e NATO-s në Tiranë, i planifikuar të mbahet në vitin e ardhshëm 2027. Europianët vijnë dhe flasin kundër Edi Ramës në tubimet e protestave në Tiranë. Të hënën e shkuar ishin 5 eurodeputetë, që morën fjalën dhe dënuan qeverisjen e Edi Ramës”, ka treguar ai.

Sipas Bytyçit, protestat kanë në qendër edhe kërkesën për shfuqizimin e disa ligjeve, si dhe largimin e Ramës, ndërsa pakënaqësia, sipas tij, lidhet edhe me çështjet e Sazanit dhe Zvërnecit.

Ai përmendi po ashtu edhe lidhjet e Ramës me Sorosin.

“Thelbi është shfuqizimi i katër ligjeve që Edi Rama i ka kaluar në parlament me urdhrin e tij si kryetar i mazhorancës, përkatësisht ligji për investitorët strategjikë, për zonat e mbrojtura, për zonat e trashëgimisë kulturore dhe Paketën e Maleve. Por edhe dorëheqja dhe zgjedhjet e reja. Sazani dhe Zvërneci u bënë shkëndija e shfaqjes së pakënaqësisë dhe fillimit të protestave. Sazani i është dhënë dhëndëri të presidentit Donald Trump, përkatësisht Jarad Kushner. Po ashtu Zvërneci. Nga të dhënat e shpallura në protestë, ishte Edi Rama që është vetofruar për t’ua dhënë ishullin dhe Zvërnecin njerëzve të familjes Trump, me shpresën se duke u lidhur me ata do të siguronte mbështetjen e Shtëpisë së Bardhë.

Por për fatin e keq të Ramës kjo nuk po funksionon. Sepse Edi Rama është kumbari i parë i Goerge Soros senjor dhe djalit të tij, Aleksit, të cilët shihen nga Trump si kundërshtarët kryesorë të tij. Edhe për zgjedhjet e pjesshme të senatit dhe kongresit amerikan që do të mbahen në nëntor, Soros ka ndarë mbi 100 milion dollarë amerikanë në ndihmë të kundërshtarëve të Donald Trump. Miku i Ramës lufton kundër Trump dhe vetë Rama shet copa Shqipërie për t’u miqësuar me presidentin amerikan. Kjo lojë është e rrezikshme jo vetëm për Shqipërinë. Është e rrezikshme edhe për vetë presidentin Trump, sepse shitja e territorit shqiptar dhëndrit të tij po shndërrohet në armë efektive kundër Partisë Republikane të zotit Trump dhe ai ka mundësi të humbasë në zgjedhjet e ardhshme të pjesshme”, ka shtuar ai.

Në fund, Bytyçi theksoi se Rama ndodhet nën trysninë e protestave dhe të ndërkombëtarëve.

Sipas tij, kryeministri përballet njëkohësisht edhe me rreziqe që lidhen me kontrata me grupe kriminale, ndërsa e cilësoi situatën si të rrezikshme si për të ashtu edhe për vendin.

“Edi Rama është midis dy zjarreve. Zjarrit të protestuesve, të cilët janë të vendosur në kërkesën e tyre për dorëheqjen e tij. Dhe zjarrit të zemërimit të europianëve për shkak të shitjes së ishullit të Sazanit, të cilin ata në të ardhmen e shohin si një mundësi që aty të ngrihet një bazë ushtarake e fuqishme anti-europiane. Se cili nga këto zjarre do ta përfshijë në flakë, duhet të shohim. Besoj se të dyja këtë zjarre. Por megjithatë ka edhe një zjarr të tretë, i cili rrezikon seriozisht ekzistencën fizike të kryeministrit të Shqipërisë. Janë kontratat që ai ka bërë me kartelet e drogës nga Kolumbia e Meksika e deri në Europë, Ballkan e në Shqipëri. Këto kontrata, nëse nuk zbatohen prej tij, do t’ia hanë kokën atij. Nëse jep dorëheqjen, do të thotë se kartelet e drogës e dënojnë për tradhti ndaj tyre. As the certification of the results and the start of official contacts between political parties are awaited, the signals emerging suggest that negotiations will not be easy.

In this situation, one of the main questions is how much internal divisions could affect the parties’ ability to reach an agreement on forming the institutions.

It was precisely on this topic that Professor Enver Bytyçi spoke to “Bota sot,” saying that the unification of the political scene in Kosovo is, unfortunately, a “mission impossible.”

According to him, the opposition parties have lined up as a bloc and are obstructing the winner of three electoral processes, solely because of ego and personal grudges.

“The unification of Albanian politics in general, and the unification of politics in Kosovo as well, appears to be a mission impossible. Historically, those who govern seek unification in order to create support for their governance, their program and their projects. Regardless of the fact that the projects, such as in Albania, involve the plundering of territory and national wealth. The opposition turns into a bloc, for example in Kosovo, to prove to those in power that ‘they cannot govern without the opposition’! If there have been three parliamentary elections, they have happened because of the ego of politics, in order to ‘prove’ to the winner that he cannot govern Kosovo alone. So, to demonstrate strength, ego and spite!

“Only among Albanians does it happen that when someone wins, resentment toward them increases. Meanwhile, in practical terms, when someone is strong in Albania, they are respected, the way is cleared for them with submission, and so on. Everywhere in the democratic world, dignity and integrity are demonstrated through work, results, achievements and trust. But in an agreement and coalition with the majority of Albanians, this integrity and this dignity seem to have taken another direction. There are many tendencies for this to be demonstrated through force, obscurantism, boycott and the blocking of the formation of institutions,” the professor said.

Bytyçi further commented on Kusari-Lila’s statement regarding the possibility of a coalition or compromise between LVV and the opposition.

In his analysis, he spoke about the scenarios that may await the country in the coming days, the progress of the creation of the institutions, and the election of the president. He also emphasized the need for the president of the state to be a non-partisan and unifying figure.

“Now let us come to the statement by Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who noted that a possible coalition or agreement between the winner (Vetëvendosje) and the losers (the opposition) after the June 7 elections is almost impossible because of the existence of radical groups within the opposition parties. This picture seriously endangers the formation of the institutions, that is, the election of the head of state in Kosovo, for which consensus between the majority and the opposition is needed. The results of June 7 show that the sovereign agrees that Albin Kurti should govern, but does not agree that he should also have the head of state as the ‘property’ of the winning party. So, the sovereign once again voted for compromise, just as in the December 28, 2025 elections. What is expected to happen? How can this difficult situation be overcome? How should the political parties behave? These questions are difficult to answer.

“But if valid advice had to be given, then I would say that the opposition should determine the president. But not through political bargaining, by favoring one or two candidacies. Not according to the formula that the name I have is the chairman or deputy chairman of the party that accepts the compromise and no one else. This is diktat, and if the head of state is determined on the basis of these principles, then he is compromised and one-sided from the moment he is accepted as a candidate, even before being elected president of the country. I do not believe in such solutions, because instead of strengthening the institution of the president, they damage it and turn that person either into a radical opponent of the government and parliament, or into a mannequin in the hands of the opposition. This risks damaging this institution. Kosovo does not need such a president, just as it does not need a puppet president who merely satisfies the appetites of the head of the majority. The president must be impartial, objective, clear in his decisions, and steady and consistent in his positions. Otherwise, the institutional role and balance are lost, which causes incalculable damage to the state and the future of Kosovo.”

According to the professor, the only way out of this situation is for the opposition to come forward with several names, which would then be reviewed in the Assembly before proceeding to a vote.

“Under these conditions there is only one solution: The opposition as a whole, or one of the two major opposition parties, should put forward many candidacies, at least four or five, and on this basis discuss with the majority which of them meets the basic criterion of preserving the balance between the institutions of the state, and it is precisely for that candidate that parliament should vote. There are enough such candidates in the ranks or among the supporters of the opposition, or of one of the two major opposition parties.”

In the end, he called on the political parties to avoid a black stain on their history and choose compromise, without pushing the state toward boycott.

“Internal divisions, as well as those between the opposition and the majority, must be avoided. Whoever clings to ego and personal interests in order to damage the state and the Republic will bear historical responsibility. The majority and the opposition should spare themselves the black stain in their political history of boycotting the state, for which tons of Albanian blood have been shed! Any political figure who places his interest above the interest of the state and of Kosovo is destined to fail and be covered in shame. This does not happen anywhere in the world. It does not happen even in states that are internationally recognized. If it happens in Kosovo, which is an independent republic not fully recognized and not a member of the UN, the damage caused to it is many times greater than in UN member states. It is a signal of the devaluation of independence and statehood. Those who have fought with their minds or with weapons for the freedom and state of Kosovo cannot allow themselves to call into question the present fate and the future of the state! Otherwise, we will have to say that these politicians are false patriots!” Enver Bytyçi concluded for “Bota sot”.

Pas zgjedhjeve parlamentare të 7 qershorit, mbetet ende e paqartë se si do të krijohen institucionet e reja në Kosovë.

Teksa pritet certifikimi i rezultateve dhe nisja e kontakteve zyrtare mes subjekteve politike, sinjalet që vijnë nuk lënë të kuptohet se negociatat do të jenë të lehta.

Në këtë situatë, një nga pyetjet kryesore është se sa mund të ndikojnë përçarjet e brendshme te aftësia e partive për të arritur një marrëveshje për formimin e institucioneve.

Pikërisht për këtë temë, profesori Enver Bytyçi dha një prononcim për “Bota sot”, ku u shpreh se bashkimi i skenës politike në Kosovë është, fatkeqësisht, një “mision i pamundur”.

Sipas tij, partitë opozitare janë rreshtuar në bllok dhe po e pengojnë fituesin e tri proceseve zgjedhore, vetëm për shkak të egos dhe hatërmbetjeve personale.

“Unifikimi i politikës shqiptare në përgjithësi, por edhe unifikimi i politikës në Kosovë, duket se është një mision i pamundur. Historikisht ata që qeverisin kërkojnë unifikim për të krijuar mbështetje për qeverisjen, për programin dhe projektet e tyre. Pavarësisht se projektet, si p.sh. në Shqipëri, kanë të bëjnë me grabitjen e territorit dhe të pasurive kombëtare. Opozitarët bëhen bllok, p.sh. në Kosovë, për t’i dëshmuar atij që qeveris se “nuk mundet të qeverisë pa opozitën”! Nëse janë bërë tri palë zgjedhje parlamentare, ato kanë ndodhur për shkak të egos së politikës, për t’i “dëshmuar” fituesit se nuk mundet ta qeverisë Kosovën i vetëm. Pra për të dëshmuar forcë, ego dhe inat!

Vetëm te shqiptarët ndodh që kur dikush fiton, inati ndaj tij shtohet. Ndërsa në planin praktik, kur dikush është i fortë në Shqipëri, ai respektohet, atij i lëshohet rruga duke iu përulur e kështu me radhë. Kudo në botën demokratike dinjiteti dhe integriteti dëshmohen me punë, rezultate, arritje e besim, te një marrëveshje dhe koalicion me shumicën e shqiptarëve ky integritet dhe ky dinjitet duket se ka marrë kahje tjetër. Ka shumë tendenca që kjo të dëshmohet me anën e forcës, të obskurantizmit, bojkotit dhe bllokimit të formimit të institucioneve”, deklaroi profesori.

Më tej, Bytyçi komentoi edhe deklaratën e Kusari-Lilës lidhur me mundësinë e një koalicioni ose kompromisi mes LVV-së dhe opozitës.

Në analizën e tij, ai foli për skenarët që mund ta presin vendin në ditët e ardhshme, për ecurinë e krijimit të institucioneve dhe për zgjedhjen e presidentit. Po ashtu, ai vuri theksin te nevoja që presidenti ose presidentja e shtetit të jetë figurë jopartiake dhe bashkuese.

“Tani të vijmë te deklarata e Mimoza Kusari-Lilës, e cila ka konstatuar se një koalicion ose marrëveshje e mundshme midis fituesit (Vetëvendosjes) dhe humbësve (opozitës) së paszgjedhjeve të 7 qershorit është thuajse i pamundur për shkak të ekzistencës së grupeve radikale brenda partive opozitare. Kjo panoramë e rrezikon seriozisht formimin e institucioneve, pra zgjedhjen e kreut të shtetit në Kosovë, për të cilin duhet konsensus midis mazhorancës dhe opozitës. Rezultatet e 7 qershorit dëshmojnë se sovrani është dakord që Albin Kurti të qeverisë, por nuk është dakord që ai ta ketë edhe kreun e shtetit si “pronë” të partisë fituese. Pra, sovrani edhe kësaj here votoi për kompromis, njësoj si në zgjedhjet e 28 dhjetorit 2025. Çfarë pritet të ndodhë? Si mund të dilet nga kjo situatë e vështirë? Si duhet të sillen partitë politike? Këto pyetje janë të vështira për t’iu përgjigjur.

Por nëse do të duhej një këshillë e vlefshme, atëherë do të thoja që presidentin ta përcaktojë opozita. Por jo me pazare politike, duke favorizuar një ose dy kandidatura. Jo sipas formulës, emri që kam unë është kryetari ose nënkryetari i partisë që pranon kompromisin dhe askush tjetër. Ky është diktat dhe nëse kryetari i shtetit përcaktohet mbi bazën e këtyre parimeve, atëherë ai është i komprometuar dhe i njëanshëm që në momentin që pranohet si kandidat, ende pa u zgjedhur president/e i vendit. Nuk besoj në zgjidhje të tilla, sepse ato në vend që ta forcojnë e dëmtojnë institucionin e presidentit dhe e bëjnë atë ose një opozitar radikal me qeverinë dhe parlamentin, ose një manekin në duart e opozitës. Kjo ka rrezik ta dëmtojë këtë institucion. Kosova nuk ka nevojë për një president/e të tillë, ashtu siç nuk ka nevojë për një president kukull, që plotëson vetëm apetitet e kreut të mazhorancës. Presidenti duhet të jetë i paanshëm, objektiv, i qartë në vendimet e tij dhe i qëndrueshëm e konsistent në qëndrime. Ndryshe e humbet rolin dhe ekuilibrin institucional, gjë që shkakton dëme të pallogaritshme për shtetin dhe të ardhmen e Kosovës”.

Sipas profesorit, rruga e vetme për dalje nga kjo situatë është që opozita të dalë me disa emra dhe ato më pas të shqyrtohen në Kuvend, për të kaluar më tej në votim.

“Në këto kushte ka vetëm një zgjidhje: Opozita si tërësi ose njëra nga dy partitë e mëdha opozitare të përcaktojnë shumë kandidatura, së paku katër ose pesë, dhe mbi këtë bazë të diskutohet me mazhorancën se cili prej tyre plotëson kriterin bazë të ruajtjes së balancës midis institucioneve të shtetit dhe pikërisht për atë kandidat të votohet në parlament. Të tillë kandidatë ka mjaftueshëm në radhët ose te grupimi i simpatizantëve të opozitës, ose të njërës prej dy partive të mëdha opozitare”.

Në fund, ai u bëri thirrje partive politike që të shmangin një njollë të zezë në historinë e tyre dhe të zgjedhin kompromisin, pa e çuar shtetin drejt bojkotit.

“Përçarjet e brendshme si dhe ato midis opozitës dhe mazhorancës duhen evituar. Kush kapet pas egos dhe interesave personale për të dëmtuar shtetin dhe Republikën, ai do të mbajë përgjegjësi historike. Mazhoranca dhe opozita duhet t’ia kursejnë veten njollën e zezë në historinë e tyre politike, duke bojkotuar shtetin, për të cilin janë derdhur tonelata gjak shqiptarësh! Cilido personazh politik që vendos interesin e tij mbi interesin e shtetit dhe të Kosovës është i destinuar të dështojë dhe të mbulohet me turp. Nuk ndodh kjo askund në botë. Nuk ndodh as te shtetet, të cilat janë të njohura ndërkombëtarisht. Nëse ndodh në Kosovë, e cila është një republikë e pavarur e panjohur plotësisht dhe jo anëtare e OKB-së, dëmi që i shkaktohet asaj është shumë herë më i madh sesa në vendet anëtare të OKB-së. Është sinjal i zhvleftësimit të pavarësisë dhe të shtetësisë. Ata që kanë luftuar me mendje ose me armë për lirinë dhe shtetin e Kosovës nuk mund t’ia lejojnë vetes të vënë në diskutim fatin e sotëm dhe të ardhmen e shtetit! Ndryshe do të duhet të themi se këta politikanë janë patriotë të rrejshëm!” – përfundoi Enver Bytyçi për “Bota sot”.
