Members of Parliament from the Democratic Party of Kosovo gathered outside the Government building, where they called on Albin Kurti to convene the Assembly’s constitutive session and pave the way for the formation of new institutions.

Eliza Hoxha, a PDK MP, said that she and her colleagues had gathered outside the Government building to protest Kurti’s presence in the institution, which she claimed he was holding hostage.

According to Hoxha, Kurti and his ministers have usurped positions and institutions, while unblocking the Assembly and restoring constitutional functioning are essential.

“Kurti must understand that instead of sabotaging the Assembly, he should go there and create the conditions for it to be constituted. That is the primary task he must carry out as the winner of the latest elections: propose a nominee and allow us to move forward with establishing the institutions,” Hoxha said.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo reiterated its call for the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement to convene the constitutive session as soon as possible so that the process of forming new institutions can proceed.

Hoxha called on Kurti and Vetëvendosje Movement MPs to return to the Assembly to launch the 11th legislature and restore constitutional order.

“There is one thing that citizens and all those who do not live in Kosovo but contribute to Kosovo must know: Albin Kurti cannot be above the state of Kosovo, his party cannot be above the state of Kosovo or the Constitution of Kosovo,” she stressed.

Deputetët e Partisë Demokratike të Kosovës u mblodhën para objektit të Qeverisë, prej nga i kërkuan Albin Kurtit të thërrasë seancën konstituive të Kuvendit dhe të krijojë mundësinë për formimin e institucioneve të reja.

Eliza Hoxha, deputete e PDK-së, tha se prania e saj dhe e kolegëve para Qeverisë ishte një kundërshtim ndaj hyrjes së Kurtit në këtë institucion, për të cilin pretendoi se po mbahet peng prej tij.

Sipas Hoxhës, Kurti dhe ministrat e tij kanë uzurpuar pozita e institucione, ndërsa zhbllokimi i Kuvendit dhe rikthimi i funksionimit kushtetues janë të domosdoshëm.

“Kurti duhet ta kuptojë që, në vend se ta sabotojë Kuvendin, ai duhet të vijë aty dhe të krijojë mundësi për ta konstituuar Kuvendin. Ajo është puna e tij parësore që duhet ta bëjë si fitues i zgjedhjeve të fundit: ta propozojë emrin dhe të ecim përpara në themelimin e institucioneve”, deklaroi Hoxha.

Partia Demokratike e Kosovës e përsëriti kërkesën që kryetari i Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje ta thërrasë sa më shpejt seancën konstituive, në mënyrë që të vijojë procedura për krijimin e institucioneve të reja.

Hoxha u bëri thirrje Kurtit dhe deputetëve të Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje të rikthehen në Kuvend, me qëllim nisjen e legjislaturës së XI dhe rivendosjen e rendit kushtetues.

“Një gjë duhet ta dinë qytetarët dhe të gjithë ata që nuk jetojnë në Kosovë, por kontribuojnë për Kosovën: Albin Kurti nuk mund të jetë mbi shtetin e Kosovës, partia e tij nuk mund të jetë mbi shtetin e Kosovës dhe mbi Kushtetutën e Kosovës”, theksoi ajo.

Eliza Hoxha, an MP from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has accused acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his ministers of usurping their posts and state institutions.

According to her, PDK MPs have positioned themselves in front of the Government building to prevent Kurti from entering the prime minister’s office, claiming that he is carrying out his duties unlawfully.

Hoxha said the PDK’s presence there is intended to demand an end to the institutional deadlock and the restoration of constitutional functioning.

Eliza Hoxha, deputete e Partisë Demokratike të Kosovës, ka akuzuar kryeministrin në detyrë, Albin Kurti, së bashku me ministrat e tij, se kanë uzurpuar postet dhe institucionet.

Sipas saj, deputetët e PDK-së janë vendosur para ndërtesës së Qeverisë për ta penguar Kurtin të hyjë në zyrën e kryeministrit, pasi pretendojnë se ai po i kryen detyrat e tij në mënyrë të paligjshme.

Hoxha deklaroi se prania e PDK-së aty synon të kërkojë zhbllokimin e institucioneve dhe rivendosjen e funksionimit kushtetues.

“Kurti duhet ta kuptojë se, në vend që ta pengojë punën e Kuvendit, duhet të paraqitet aty dhe të krijojë kushtet për konstituimin e tij. Si fitues i zgjedhjeve të fundit, detyra e tij kryesore është të propozojë emrin, në mënyrë që të vazhdohet me ngritjen e institucioneve”, deklaroi Hoxha.

PDK-ja e përsëriti kërkesën ndaj Kurtit që, si përfaqësues i subjektit që ka siguruar shumicën parlamentare, të hapë rrugën për vijimin e procesit të konstituimit të Kuvendit.

“As Albin Kurti dhe as partia e tij nuk mund të vendosen mbi shtetin dhe Kushtetutën e Kosovës”, nënvizoi deputetja e PDK-së.

Sipas saj, në vend që të pengojë punën e Kuvendit, Kurti duhet të paraqitet atje dhe të hapë rrugën për konstituimin e tij. Hoxha tha se, si fitues i zgjedhjeve të fundit, detyra e tij kryesore është të propozojë emrin, në mënyrë që të vazhdohet me krijimin e institucioneve.

PDK-ja e përsëriti kërkesën ndaj Kurtit që, si përfaqësues i subjektit që ka siguruar shumicën parlamentare, të krijojë kushtet për vijimin e konstituimit të Kuvendit.

Hoxha nënvizoi se as Albin Kurti dhe as partia e tij nuk mund të vendosen mbi shtetin dhe Kushtetutën e Kosovës.

Në fund, ajo ftoi Kurtin dhe deputetët e tij të rikthehen në Kuvend, në mënyrë që të nisë Legjislatura e XI dhe të rivendoset rendi kushtetues.

According to Hoxha, other opposition parties are also not expected to support a candidate simply because of political pressure.

She said that the opposition cannot be, in her words, “a machine for the hand gestures of Kurti’s wishes in the Assembly,” stressing that opposition parties have obligations to their electorate and represent different approaches to the country’s development.

“One thing is clear: there will be no blank-check vote simply because of pressure that opposition parties must vote for whoever Kurti wants. You should know that not only the PDK, but I believe no opposition party will do this, because we are not machines for the hand gestures of Kurti’s wishes in the Assembly. We have a responsibility to people who have different convictions and ideas about the state, who have a different vision for development, and we must represent them in the Assembly of Kosovo,” Hoxha said.

She stressed that in order to reach a political agreement, there must be a willingness for dialogue, especially from the party that emerged victorious in the election.

Hoxha also said that the functioning of democracy requires a balance of power and the inclusion of all political forces, while opposing the concentration of authority in the hands of only one political party.

“Maturity, both in human terms and in political terms, comes when the sides are ready. Especially the winning side, even if it needs only a single vote, must sit down at the table and create opportunities to move forward. These opportunities, which in the past were created by other parties, have usually been labeled as ‘deals’ and demonized, but in fact democracy is what gives the smaller side a chance, gives unheard sides a chance and gives opposition parties a chance to balance power, so that a total concentration of power is not created in one political entity, if we want to live in a democracy,” she concluded.

Eliza Hoxha, deputete e zgjedhur nga Partia Demokratike e Kosovës (PDK), ka bërë të ditur se kjo forcë politike nuk do të japë një votë të pakushtëzuar për cilindo emër që mund të propozojë për president kryeministri në detyrë dhe lideri i Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti.

Sipas Hoxhës, edhe partitë e tjera opozitare nuk pritet të përkrahin një kandidat thjesht për shkak të presionit politik.

Ajo është shprehur se opozita nuk mund të jetë, sipas fjalëve të saj, “makinë e lëvizjeve të dorës së dëshirave të Kurtit në Kuvend”, duke nënvizuar se partitë opozitare kanë detyrime ndaj elektoratit të tyre dhe përfaqësojnë qasje të ndryshme për zhvillimin e shtetit.

“Një gjë është e qartë: votë blanko vetëm për shkak të presionit që partitë opozitare duhet patjetër ta votojnë këdo që dëshiron Kurti, nuk do të ketë. Ta dini që jo vetëm PDK-ja, por besoj asnjë parti opozitare nuk do ta bëjë këtë, sepse ne nuk jemi makina të lëvizjeve të dorës së dëshirave të Kurtit në Kuvend. Ne kemi një besueshmëri ndaj njerëzve që kanë bindje dhe ide të tjera për shtetin, kanë një vizion tjetër zhvillimor, dhe ne duhet t’i përfaqësojmë ato në Kuvendin e Kosovës”, ka deklaruar Hoxha.

Ajo ka theksuar se për të arritur një marrëveshje politike duhet të ekzistojë vullnet për dialog, sidomos nga partia që ka dalë fituese në zgjedhje.

Po ashtu, Hoxha ka vlerësuar se funksionimi i demokracisë kërkon balancë pushteti dhe përfshirjen e të gjitha forcave politike, ndërsa ka kundërshtuar përqendrimin e autoritetit në duart e vetëm një subjekti politik.

“Maturimi, si në aspektin njerëzor ashtu edhe në atë politik, vjen kur palët janë të gatshme. Sidomos pala fituese, qoftë edhe nëse i nevojitet vetëm një votë e vetme, duhet të ulet në tavolinë dhe të krijojë mundësi për të ecur përpara. Këto mundësi që në të kaluarën janë krijuar nga partitë e tjera, zakonisht janë cilësuar si ‘pazare’ dhe janë demonizuar, por në fakt demokracia është ajo që i jep mundësi të voglit, i jep mundësi palëve të padëgjuara dhe u jep mundësi partive opozitare për ta balancuar pushtetin, në mënyrë që të mos krijohet një përqendrim total i pushtetit te një subjekt politik, nëse dëshirojmë të jetojmë në demokraci”, ka përfunduar ajo.
