The module has been developed through cooperation between APK and the Kosovo Institute for Public Administration (IKAP), with the support of international partners. It aims to strengthen the knowledge and capacities of public officials regarding conflict of interest and ethics.

Following the presentation of the module, a panel discussion will be organized with the participation of representatives from public institutions, civil society, and partners. The discussion will focus on continuous education, professional capacity development, and strengthening the culture of integrity in public administration.

The activity is part of the main events of the ‘Agency Week’, organized to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Anti-Corruption Agency.

Final approval was also granted for the expropriation in the public interest of former socially owned real estate properties administered by the Kosovo Privatization Agency. These properties are necessary for projects by the Municipality of Gjakova in the Gjakova-City Zone, including the administration of the former “Bankos” building for administrative services.

Another decision concerns the construction of a football field and recreational areas that will serve the village of Trakaniq and surrounding settlements within the Trakaniq Cadastral Zone.

The amendment to Decision No. 11/08, dated April 3, 2026, concerning the Commission for examining the factual situation and discrepancies in the Register of Immovable Property Rights, was also approved. Under this amendment, Ms. Besnike Mehmeti from the Office of the Prime Minister replaces Ms. Ervina Gashi as an alternate member.

According to TAK, this new functionality has been implemented in accordance with Administrative Instruction (MF) No. 01/2026 on the Use of Fiscal Electronic Devices, Fiscal Systems and Fiscal Electronic Software, with the aim of enabling taxpayers to obtain the Unique Fiscalization Code, which is required for the use of Fiscal Electronic Software (FES).

Through this service, applications may be submitted by taxpayers who will begin using FES, as well as by those who are in the process of transitioning from Fiscal Electronic Devices (FED) to Fiscal Electronic Software.

The notice addressed to businesses states: “Through the ‘Request for Fiscalization’ service, the following may apply: taxpayers who will begin using Fiscal Electronic Software (FES); taxpayers who are in the process of transitioning from Fiscal Electronic Devices (FED) to Fiscal Electronic Software (FES).”

This service can be found in the EDI Electronic System under the “Fiscalization” menu by selecting the “Request for Fiscalization” option.

TAK clarified that for taxpayers who have already obtained the Unique Fiscalization Code, this code will appear in the system, while those who do not yet have it will be able to submit the request electronically through the newly added service.

The Tax Administration has called on all taxpayers planning to use Fiscal Electronic Software, as well as those transitioning from FED to FES, to check their status in the EDI Electronic System and, when necessary, apply to obtain the Unique Fiscalization Code.

According to TAK, the launch of this new version of EDI is part of efforts to digitalize tax processes and provide more modern, more efficient and more accessible services for taxpayers.
