Gjatë marshimit në kryeqytet, protestuesit kërkuan dorëheqjen e pakushtëzuar të kryeministrit Edi Rama, ndërsa brohoritën “Shqipëria kërkon revolucion” dhe “Edi Rama jepe dorëheqjen”.

Organizatorët kanë bërë thirrje për një pjesëmarrje sa më të gjerë në protestën e 100-të dhe kanë njoftuar se do të rrethojnë Kryeministrinë. Në kërkesat e artikuluara përfshihen edhe largimi i qeverisë dhe ngritja e një qeverie teknike.

Protestuesit kanë paralajmëruar se aksioni do të vijojë edhe para Parlamentit, me rikthimin e sesionit parlamentar.

Kuvendi do të mblidhet të martën, më 8 shtator, një ditë pas protestës së 100-të, çka pritet ta nisë javën me tensione të forta politike.

Albanian lawyer Spartak Ngjela has reacted harshly to the possibility that the island of Sazan could be transferred to a foreign power. He considers such an action a direct blow to the country’s sovereignty and geostrategic position.

In a message published on Facebook, Ngjela directly addressed Prime Minister Edi Rama, warning him that taking such a step would have serious criminal consequences. According to him, the move constitutes “treason against the nation,” and he called for an immediate withdrawal from any initiative of this kind.

In his reaction, the lawyer stressed that the island of Sazan must never be handed over, as this would serve the interests of Belgrade and anti-Albanian forces. He underlined that such an act would constitute a violation of the territory of the Republic of Albania and that Sazan is of particular importance to the country’s national defense strategy.

The lawyer’s full message also included a direct appeal to the prime minister: “Be careful, Edi Rama, because you are not the owner of Albania!” He added that responsibility would fall not only on Rama, but also on the entire parliamentary majority that would vote for such a decision, which he categorized as treason.

Spartak Ngjela continued by linking the fate of the island to the historical pressures exerted by Belgrade and Moscow, which, according to him, have sought for centuries to seize it from Albania. For this reason, he insisted that the prime minister must withdraw urgently, recalling that the territory of the Republic enjoys special protection under the Constitution.

At the conclusion of his post, the lawyer called for the immediate intervention of SPAK. He declared that if Rama were to carry out this anti-national act, he should be arrested without delay for treason against the homeland, on the grounds that he had violated Albania’s territory.

Reagimi i avokatit shqiptar Spartak Ngjela ka qenë i ashpër lidhur me mundësinë që ishulli i Sazanit t’i kalojë një fuqie të huaj. Ai e konsideron një veprim të tillë si një goditje të drejtpërdrejtë ndaj sovranitetit dhe pozicionit gjeostrategjik të vendit.

Në një mesazh të publikuar në Facebook, Ngjela i është drejtuar pa ndërmjetës kryeministrit Edi Rama, duke e paralajmëruar se ndërmarrja e këtij hapi do të sillte pasoja të rënda penale. Sipas tij, kjo lëvizje përbën “tradhti ndaj kombit” dhe kërkoi një tërheqje të menjëhershme nga çdo nismë e këtij lloji.

Në përfundim të postimit të tij, avokati kërkoi ndërhyjen e menjëhersshme të SPAK-ut. Ai dekaroi se në rast se Rama do të kryente këtë akt antikombëtar, duhet të arrestohej pa vonesë për tradhëi ndaj atdheut, për shkak të cenimit të territorit të Shqipërisë.

For 97 days, protests against the government have shown no sign of stopping, while one of the citizens involved in them today issued a powerful appeal to the entire country to turn out for the march announced for Monday, which, according to him, marks 100 days of continuous resistance.

During his speech at the rally, he did not spare harsh accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, portraying him as the leader of a rotten government and openly pressuring him to resign.

“The prime minister of Albania should be admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Every day, more and more, with his speeches, he shows that he has lost his mind. On Monday we mark 100 days of resistance, 100 days of sacrifice,” the protester declared in harsh tones.

He then addressed every Albanian, from the northernmost to the southernmost part of the country, inviting them to take part in a demonstration he described as a cornerstone for the country’s democratic future.

“I appeal to every Albanian, from north to south, to join the most wonderful march of our 35-year democracy. Only together will we prove to this corrupt regime that we are here and that we will no longer allow the homeland to be plundered,” he continued.

At the end of his speech, the protester insisted that power belongs to the people and bluntly called on the prime minister to step down from his post.

“We are the sovereign, and you will resign by every means and at any cost,” he concluded.

Në mbyllje të fjalës së tij, protestuesi këmbënguli se pushteti i takon popullit dhe i kërkoi prerazi kryeministrit të tërhiqet nga posti i tij.

Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the property and area where a conflict between two businessmen was reported in Vlore a day earlier will be expropriated in the public interest and placed at the public’s disposal.

Rama said the clash, which he described as both banal and brutal, together with an analysis of the property ownership map, had led to the decision to put an end to this situation and send a message to everyone who develops or manages tourism assets.

According to him, these stakeholders must understand that their behavior must not undermine Albania’s national tourism mission, which goes beyond the physical transformation of the territory.

Rama stressed that they must act as ambassadors for tourism in their relations with one another, with Albania and with visitors.

The prime minister underlined that the severity of the conflict requires a response commensurate with the social importance of this national mission.

He announced that, in accordance with the law, the entire conflict area would be expropriated and transformed into a public asset.

According to Rama, a natural oasis dedicated to the olive tree will be created there, with a living park where native Albanian varieties and representative Mediterranean varieties will be planted and preserved, while all the olive oils produced in Albania will also be exhibited.

Rama added that the space is intended to become a symbol of unity and peace, while the rest of Albania will be transformed into a space connecting the entire territory, under the shade of the olive tree, which he described as the tree of peace and the blessed tree.

This Friday, via a video message on X, Prime Minister Edi Rama sent a congratulatory message to his Italian counterpart, Giorgia Meloni, on a historic day for the Italian executive.

The head of state published a video message, appreciating the significant political achievement for the neighboring country.

After 1,413 days in office, the government led by Meloni has become the longest-lasting in the history of the Italian Republic.

Meloni took office as prime minister in October 2022, leading one of the longest-serving executives Italy has ever seen.

In his remarks, Rama addressed the Italian prime minister: “Giorgia, I just learned that you now lead the longest-serving government in the history of the Italian Republic. Really? I guess I had gotten used to bad habits, since I changed my interlocutor in Rome as often as Milan changes coaches.”

He also added that, despite the left’s predictions, Italian democracy is not at risk.

“And yet, strangely, Italian democracy does not seem endangered at all, contrary to what we had predicted, especially us on the left, when you arrived at Palazzo Chigi wearing black trousers.”

Rama also recalled the initial concern of Ursula von der Leyen: “I remember Ursula was quite worried at the time, wasn’t she? On the contrary, she must be very happy about this record of yours now. Because instead of marching on Europe, as we feared, you embraced Europe and helped it better understand issues like security and illegal immigration.”

He then ironized about a supposed democratic deficit: “However, the full truth must be admitted: since you came, an extraordinary democratic deficit has been noticed in Italy. You have sidelined men from the power struggle, which has now become a women’s affair, exclusively women’s.”

In closing, Rama also challenged his own record and mentioned Germany: “What can I say, dear Giorgia? Now only one record remains to be broken: mine. Prime Minister Edi Rama has rejected claims that the Albanian government intervened to restrict certain accounts on social media platforms, which were allegedly linked to the civic protest that has been taking place in the capital for nearly 100 days.

In a response published on the X platform, the head of government categorically denied any involvement by state institutions in the matter, stressing that they possess neither the tools nor the technological capacity to carry out such an action.

At the same time, Rama strongly criticized the way the organizers or supporters of the protest movement have handled the issue, interpreting it as a tactic to shift responsibility onto the executive.

“I want to be crystal clear: we have absolutely nothing to do with the deactivation or limitation of any social media account, nor do we possess the technical capacity to undertake such an operation,” Rama declared.

In his post, the prime minister also expressed speculation about the origin of these blocks, linking them to a scheme called the “Flamingo Revolution” and to previous episodes of unrest in Ceuta.

In his full message, Rama writes that it is incomprehensible for people who describe themselves as European democrats to spread such shameless visual insinuations. He adds that he has extensive experience with blame games by political opponents, but considers it regrettable when such propaganda comes from those who claim to be democrats. Rama then raises the question of whether this entire maneuver is being orchestrated by the same malicious forces that inspired the “Flamingo Revolution” and the unrest in Ceuta, with the aim of reviving a movement that has already died out. He concludes by repeating that the government is not involved and calling those spreading this information a failed group that deserves shame.
