Imagine for a moment that Dritan Goxhaj were the former director of AKSHI, accused of being part of a “criminal organization.”

Or that he were the mastermind behind the incinerators that, just like legends, are endlessly talked about, but no one has ever seen.

Or that messages had been found on his phone saying things like: “X gets this tender.”

Or that some 500 thousand euros had turned up in his home chimney.

Or some 3 million euros in the trunk of a Toyota Yaris, arranged so neatly that the car would not even have needed shock absorbers.

Or that he had appeared in Sky ECC wiretaps ordering murders with the same ease as ordering a macchiato in the Bllok area.

Or that he had been declared a strategic investor and built on some “tiny little spot” in a protected area in the South.

In short, imagine if he had one or several of these “merits.” At the very least, he would be an MP or an independent television analyst.

But no.

Dritan made one fatal mistake: he read out the five points of the protest and, worse still, he read them without spelling mistakes. Now that truly could be considered a national threat.

That’s all.

A man with no accusation, no file, no investigation, no hidden wealth, no ties to gangs or cartels, no wiretaps in which he promises jobs and tenders, no concessions and no special status.

A man who once left behind comfort, work and salary and went to fight for the liberation of Kosovo has now reached the most dangerous status in the Republic: he is being targeted.

And they have targeted him from morning till night.

Because to be clean, to be without accusation, is a provocation, an insult to the system, a disturbance of the ecological balance of corruption.

As Fishta would say: “If you have a tail, they cut it off; if you do not, they attach one to you.”

They are so talented at attacks that, if given a free hand, they would not only make the priest carry the burden, but then ask him to pay the costs of raising the child as well.

Imagjinoni për një moment sikur Dritan Goxhaj të ishte ish-drejtor i AKSHI-t me akuzën për “organizatë kriminale”.

Ose sikur të ishte ideatori i inceneratorëve që, tamam si legjendat, përmenden pa fund, por askush nuk i ka parë.

Ose sikur t’i gjendeshin në telefon biseda të tipit: “Këtë tenderin e merr X.”

Ose t’i dilnin nja 500 mijë euro në oxhakun e shtëpisë.

Ose nja 3 milionë euro në bagazhin e një Toyota Yaris, të sistemuara aq bukur sa makina të mos kishte nevojë as për amortizatorë.

Ose të dilte në përgjimet e Sky ECC duke porositur vrasje me të njëjtën lehtësi me të cilën porositet një makiato në Bllok.

Ose të shpallej investitor strategjik dhe të ndërtonte mbi ndonjë “pikë të vockël” në ndonjë zonë të mbrojtur në Jug.

Me pak fjalë, imagjinoni sikur të kishte një apo disa nga këto “merita”. Më e pakta do të ishte deputet ose analist i pavarur në televizion.

Por jo.

Dritani bëri një gabim fatal: lexoi pesë pikat e protestës dhe, çfarë është më e keqja, i lexoi pa gabime drejtshkrimore. Kjo po që mund të konsiderohet rrezik kombëtar.

Kaq.

Një njeri pa akuzë, pa dosje, pa hetim, pa pasuri të fshehura, pa lidhje me bandat e kartelet, pa përgjime ku premton vende pune e tendera, pa koncesione e pa status special.

Një njeri që dikur la komoditetin, punën dhe rrogën dhe shkoi të luftonte për çlirimin e Kosovës, sot ka arritur statusin më të rrezikshëm në Republikë: është në shënjestër.

Dhe e kanë marrë në shënjestër nga mëngjesi në darkë.

Sepse të jesh i pastër, të jesh pa akuzë, është provokim, ėshtë ofendim për sistemin, është prishje e ekuilibrit ekologjik të korrupsionit.

Siç do të thoshte Fishta: “Nëse ke bisht ta presin, nëse nuk ke ta ngjesin.”

Këta janë kaq të talentuar në sulme, sa po t’u lihet dorë e lirë, jo vetëm e bëjnë priftin me barrë, por më pas i kërkojnë të paguajë edhe detyrimet e rritjes së fëmijës.

Tare said his vision would be of a state that decides its own fate and does not move according to momentary interests, sometimes making concessions to one side and sometimes to another. According to him, only a sovereign state that protects its own interests can earn respect.

He said that Europe, America, Israel and Turkey respect you only when you are master of your own country and act in line with its interests.

According to Tare, the question that should be asked is whether our state is working for the interests of the young people who have come out onto the boulevard or for the interests of others. He raised concern that continuous concessions are being made, mentioning refugees, the MEK camp, the camps in Shëngjin and the cemeteries, which he said are being opened according to the wishes of other countries. Tare recalled that until 2013, the MEK was considered a terrorist organization and added that they were brought here because no one else wanted them. For this reason, according to him, the country is without a backbone, and that is precisely why those people are protesting: because they are demanding dignity and a state that makes decisions for their country, without leaving decision-making in the hands of others.

He also said that he does not believe this is the same Rama he knew before, but that, in his view, we are dealing with a different Rama.

Tare went on to stress that attention is being diverted away from the fundamental issues. According to him, the focus should be on the boulevard and the protesters’ demands, not on the debate over whether Dritan Goxhaj was or was not part of the KLA. He said that for those who know Dritan, including himself, it is known that he was, but he considered this a very distant story and added that Dritan himself should come forward and defend himself against any accusations that may have been made against him.

Tare called this a classic shift of attention, adding that there is nothing unusual about this way of operating. According to him, for a moment people fell into that trap, but he believes they are returning once again to the debate that carries real weight: the boulevard, the demands and the calls for the political class to go home. Tare kujtoi se deri në vitin 2013, MEK-u ka qenë organizatë terroriste dhe shtoi se ata u sollën këtu sepse nuk i donte askush tjetër. Për këtë arsye, sipas tij, vendi është pa bosht dhe pikërisht për këtë protestojnë ata njerëz: sepse kërkojnë dinjitet dhe një shtet që vendos për vendin e tyre, pa ua lënë të tjerëve në dorë vendimmarrjen.

Ai tha se për ata që e njohin Dritanin, përfshirë edhe veten e tij, është e ditur që ka qenë, por e konsideroi këtë një histori shumë të largët dhe shtoi se është vetë Dritani ai që duhet të dalë e të mbrojë veten për akuzat që mund t’i jenë bërë.

Tare e quajti këtë një zhvendosje klasike të vëmendjes, duke shtuar se nuk ka asgjë të pazakontë në këtë mënyrë veprimi. Sipas tij, për një moment njerëzit ranë në atë kurth, por ai mendon se po i kthehen sërish debatit që ka peshë reale: bulevardit, kërkesave dhe thirrjeve që klasa politike të shkojë në shtëpi. Ndërsa për Dritan Goxhajn, ai tha se ai vazhdon jetën e tij, është i lirë, merr pjesë në protestë dhe se në këtë nuk ka asgjë të keqe.
