A warm air mass arriving from the south will affect weather conditions over the extended weekend and through the end of next week, according to the Directorate for Hydrometeorological Affairs.

According to the announcement, sunny weather and very high temperatures are expected, with light to moderate cloud cover in some areas.

Across the country, daytime temperatures will rise above 32 degrees Celsius, while in certain areas they will exceed 40 degrees.

The heat will persist overnight as well.

The Directorate for Hydrometeorological Affairs announces that the entire territory of the country will face a deterioration in weather conditions today. Rain showers will be intermittent, creating local instability in many areas.

According to DPHM experts, powerful downpours are expected in parts of the territory, accompanied by intense electrical activity and gusty winds. Specific local conditions will favor the formation of a full storm, with the possibility of hail not ruled out.

As for the winds, they will blow from the north at moderate intensity. However, the situation becomes more concerning in the area along the Vardar River valley, where wind strength will periodically increase, exceeding speeds of 60 kilometers per hour.

Meteorologists advise citizens to exercise caution and avoid prolonged stays in open areas. Due to the high dynamics of these phenomena and possible sudden weather changes, continuous monitoring of the latest weather bulletins is recommended.
