In a Facebook post, he said the decision clearly sets out the temperatures and time periods when these restrictions will take effect.

“Today I made a decision to impose temporary traffic restrictions for freight transport vehicles with a total weight of more than 20 tons, with the aim of protecting road infrastructure during high temperatures and increasing traffic safety,” Basha wrote.

According to him, on highways the measure will apply on days when the forecast maximum temperature reaches 32 degrees Celsius or higher, during the period from 11:00 to 17:30.

“On highways, the restriction will apply on days when a maximum temperature of 32°C or higher is forecast, in the 11:00–17:30 time slot,” he said.

Meanwhile, on national, regional and connecting roads, the restriction will apply on days when the forecast maximum temperature reaches 35 degrees Celsius or higher, also during the same hours, from 11:00 to 17:30.

“On national, regional and connecting roads, the restriction will apply on days when a maximum temperature of 35°C or higher is forecast, also in the 11:00–17:30 time slot,” Basha stressed.

He added that the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport will publish an official notice every day after 16:00 to announce whether the restrictions will be implemented for the following day, based on the latest forecasts from the Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute.

“This decision aims to protect roads from damage caused by high temperatures and heavy loads, while at the same time ensuring greater safety for all traffic participants,” the acting minister said.

Ministri në detyrë i Infrastrukturës dhe Transportit, Dimal Basha, ka bërë të ditur se ka marrë një vendim për kufizimin e përkohshëm të lëvizjes së automjeteve për transport mallrash me masë totale mbi 20 tonë, me synimin për të mbrojtur infrastrukturën rrugore dhe për të shtuar sigurinë në komunikacion gjatë ditëve me temperatura të larta.

Në një postim në Facebook, ai njoftoi se vendimi përcakton qartë temperaturat dhe oraret kur këto kufizime do të hyjnë në fuqi.

“Sot kam marrë vendim për vendosjen e kufizimeve të përkohshme të qarkullimit për automjetet e transportit të mallrave me masë totale mbi 20 tonë, me qëllim të mbrojtjes së infrastrukturës rrugore gjatë temperaturave të larta dhe rritjes së sigurisë në komunikacion”, ka shkruar Basha.

Sipas tij, në autoudhë masa do të zbatohet në ato ditë kur temperatura maksimale e parashikuar arrin 32 gradë Celsius ose më shumë, në periudhën nga ora 11:00 deri në 17:30.

“Në autoudhë, kufizimi do të zbatohet në ditët kur parashikohet temperaturë maksimale 32°C ose më e lartë, në intervalin 11:00–17:30”, ka bërë të ditur ai.

Ndërkohë, në rrugët nacionale, rajonale dhe lidhëse, kufizimi do të vlejë në ditët kur temperatura maksimale e parashikuar shkon në 35 gradë Celsius ose më lart, po në të njëjtin orar, nga 11:00 deri në 17:30.

“Në rrugët nacionale, rajonale dhe lidhëse, kufizimi do të zbatohet në ditët kur parashikohet temperaturë maksimale 35°C ose më e lartë, po ashtu në intervalin 11:00–17:30”, ka theksuar Basha.

Ai ka shtuar se Ministria e Infrastrukturës dhe Transportit do të publikojë çdo ditë, pas orës 16:00, njoftimin zyrtar për të bërë të ditur nëse kufizimet do të zbatohen apo jo për ditën pasuese, duke u mbështetur në parashikimet më të fundit të Institutit Meteorologjik të Kosovës.

Sipas tij, bëhet fjalë për një zhvillim pozitiv, pasi ky projekt ka peshë të veçantë për lidhjen infrastrukturore mes Republikës së Kosovës dhe Maqedonisë së Veriut.

Basha është shprehur se “Ky segment përbën vazhdimin e korridorit të rëndësishëm rajonal dhe shënon një hap të rëndësishëm drejt kompletimit të njërit prej akseve më strategjike të transportit në rajon.
