She stressed that the foundations of the state were built on the determination of the delegates, who, according to her, left a clear example that there should be no surrender in the face of difficulties.

“Today we honor the delegates of the Assembly of Kosovo, who on July 2, 1990 clearly expressed the will of the country’s citizens for freedom by adopting the Constitutional Declaration.

The foundations of our state rest on their determination to reject violence and embrace the values of freedom. Above all, they set an example of never surrendering in the face of any difficulty, an example that continues to inspire us even today.”
