Young people’s interest in computer science is growing, while the job market is increasingly seeking technology specialists. Among them is Daniel Isufaj from Pogradec, who has completed his studies in the field.

The growing choice of computer science fields is linked both to the need for professionals and to the expanding use of technology across a large number of public and private services.

Daniel has begun applying the knowledge he gained during his studies through practical projects. Using his own budget, he has built the first prototype of an intelligent robot capable of performing several tasks at the same time.

The device measures temperature, humidity and light intensity, while it can also signal instances of fire. Through its camera, the robot also transmits real-time images of the elements it monitors.

Daniel said that he is currently focusing on developing internet and robotics projects. To build the robot, he used microcontrollers, which are widely known in the field, as well as various sensors that he combined to create a device that moves, observes atmospheric conditions and displays all the measurements it takes.

After making several further improvements, his objective is for the robot to also be used in the future to explore Lake Ohrid.

Although technology creates numerous employment opportunities, experience remains one of the criteria most frequently sought by employers. This makes it more difficult for young people to enter the job market and, according to Daniel, is one of the reasons that prompts many of them to consider opportunities abroad.

Pajisja mat temperaturën, lagështirën dhe intensitetin e dritës, ndërsa mund të sinjalizojë edhe rastet e zjarrit. Përmes kamerës, roboti transmeton gjithashtu pamje reale të elementeve që monitoron.

Danieli ka treguar se aktualisht po përqendrohet te zhvillimi i projekteve të internetit dhe robotikës. Për ndërtimin e robotit ka përdorur mikrokontrollues, të njohur gjerësisht në këtë fushë, si dhe sensorë të ndryshëm, të cilët i ka ndërthurur për të krijuar një pajisje që lëviz, vëzhgon kushtet atmosferike dhe paraqet të gjitha matjet e kryera.

Pas realizimit të disa përmirësimeve të tjera, objektivi i tij është që roboti të shfrytëzohet në të ardhmen edhe për eksplorimin e Liqenit të Ohrit.

Megjithëse teknologjia krijon mundësi të shumta punësimi, eksperienca mbetet ndër kriteret që kërkohet më shpesh nga punëdhënësit. Kjo e vështirëson përfshirjen e të rinjve në tregun e punës dhe, sipas Danielit, është një prej arsyeve që i nxit shumë prej tyre të shqyrtojnë mundësitë jashtë vendit.
