Detajet e akuzave janë përfshirë në dosjen e padisë së ngritur ndaj Coinbase, faqes së dytë më të madhe të tregtimit të kriptove në botë, pas Binance. Coinbase gjithashtu pretendohet se ka “operuar si një firmë brokerimi e paregjistruar” që nga viti 2019.

Dje, SEC paditi faqen e kriptomonedhave Binance dhe CEO-n e saj, Changpeng Zhao, me arsyetimin se kishin operuar një “rrjet gënjeshtrash”.

Ankesa e SEC e paraqitur në gjykatën federale në Washington përfshinte 13 akuza kundër Binance, Zhao dhe tregtimit të pavarur të kriptomonedhave në SHBA.

SEC pretendoi se Binance krijoi vëllim tregtar artificial, përdori paratë e klientëve pa leje dhe nuk arriti të parandalonte qytetarët amerikanë që të përdornin platformën.
