The Crisis Management Center reports that, as of 7:30 a.m., a total of 31 fires in open areas had been recorded across the territory of North Macedonia.

According to the reported tally, two fires remain active, five have been brought under control, while 24 fires have been extinguished.

The active fires are located in the village of Graçan in the Municipality of Gjorçe Petrov, where the flames have also spread into the territory of Kosovo, as well as in the Kajorec area near the village of Belicë, in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod.

Fires under control have been recorded in Struga, Saraj, Çuçer-Sandevë, Kratovë and Dellçevë. The other fires included in the report have been extinguished.

By 18:00, emergency response teams had managed to bring two fires under control, while seven others had been completely extinguished.

The fires at the Vidush site, near the village of Dragov Dol in Makedonski Brod, remain active, involving low vegetation, low-stem forests and shrubs. Flames are also continuing in Dolna Belica, Struga, in the village of Plarenik in Centar Zhupa, near the Turkish cemetery in Kičevo, in the village of Bukri in Bitola and in the village of Zhitoshe in Dolneni.

Under control are the fire on the outskirts of Kriva Palanka, where a landfill is burning, and the fire at the city landfill in Delchevo.

During the day, the fires in Novaci, Veles, Bosilovo, Štip, Gradsko, Negotino and Aračinovo were extinguished./Telegrafi/
