Shehaj opposed this stance by publishing a series of documents that, according to him, prove exemplary transparency over all properties. He specified that the property in question was bought in 2019 for 2.9 million euros and that a year later he obtained authorization to erect a building of almost 500 square meters.

According to the posted documentation, during this reconstruction phase he invested at least another 4 million euros, transforming it into a luxury residential property. This entire property was finally sold for 15 million euros in 2025, a process that the Opportunity Party leader calls completely legal and verifiable by Italian authorities.

Referring to a second luxury property that Balla mentioned publicly days ago, Shehaj confirmed that he had bought it for 10 million euros and left open the possibility of a future sale for 25 million euros, depending on market conditions. If he did not reach a favorable agreement, he intended to keep it for personal use.

In a harsh accusatory tone, Shehaj said that his wealth is the product of honest work, putting this in complete contrast with politicians who, according to him, have enriched themselves by stealing from the poorest people in Europe. He invited his opponents to follow the example of absolute transparency, declaring that there is no reason to hide anything, because facing the law in Italy is harsh for anyone who breaks the rules.

Muçi asked how it was possible for Prime Minister Rama not to say a single word when a close associate of Vučić speaks of ethnic cleansing, adding that such statements run counter to the Albanian Constitution. According to police, the 27-year-old administrator of a bike rental business was struck with hard objects during a conflict over payment for damage caused by the loss of a bicycle key.

The young man suffered severe head injuries, but is out of danger for his life.

Sarandë police arrested a 43-year-old man from Kamza, suspected of intentional grievous bodily harm and disturbing public peace. Three other people suspected of participating in the conflict are also under investigation.

Police report that A. H., 45, the brother of the arrested man, and S. Ç., 20, are also suspected of involvement in the conflict.

At the conclusion of the initial investigative actions, the 43-year-old was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of “intentional grievous bodily harm” and “disturbing public peace”.

Meanwhile, his brother, 45-year-old A. H., the citizen S. Ç., and the business administrator, A. L., are being prosecuted while at large for the offenses of “intentional light bodily harm” and “disturbing public peace”.

Police are continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the conflict.

Prishtina, 02 July 2026 – The Basic Prosecution in Prishtina – Department for Serious Crimes informs the public that today, at around 13:40, in the “Dëshmorët Boulevard” square in the Municipality of Podujeva, an armed clash occurred between three (3) persons. As a result of the gunfire, three (3) persons involved in the incident, as well as a случай passerby, suffered bodily injuries.

According to the initial investigation data, it is suspected that persons with family ties (nephew and uncle) were involved in this incident, while the suspected motive in this matter is linked to a prior dispute.

Immediately after the information was received from the Kosovo Police, the duty prosecutor from the Department for Serious Crimes went to the scene and, in cooperation with the relevant units of the Kosovo Police, all necessary investigative measures and actions were undertaken to fully clarify the circumstances of this case.

In relation to these actions, the suspects are being investigated for committing the criminal offense of “Aggravated murder in attempted form,” under Article 173 in conjunction with Article 28 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

Those wounded by gunfire were sent to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) to receive the necessary medical treatment.

The Basic Prosecution in Prishtina, in full coordination with the Kosovo Police, is continuing to undertake all necessary investigative actions to fully clarify the circumstances of this incident.
