The 91st civic resistance protest in Tirana has concluded after hours of gathering, speeches, and marching through the streets of the capital.

Participants first gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office building, where they expressed harsh criticism of the executive branch and reiterated the central demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

During the event, placards and messages with sarcastic tones directed at the government were abundant. One of them read, “Time does not tire us, it strengthens us,” as some protesters emphasized their determination to remain in the square even for an extended period.

A young man present declared that “Rama is counting his last days,” considering the continuity of the protest as proof of civic resilience.

The evening’s messages also included pensioners. An elderly citizen addressed the head of government with a call to step down and demanded greater support for the elderly and people with disabilities.

Another message brought the diaspora’s call for the unity of different social and professional strata and categories, aiming to increase participation in future gatherings.

After the conclusion of the speeches, the crowd carried out the traditional march through the streets of Tirana, continuing with anti-government slogans.

With the closure of today’s meeting, the civic opposition marks 91 days of protest, while organizers have warned of a return to the square and the continuation of their action tomorrow as well.
