Artan Abrashi, an LVV MP, has said that Vlora Çitaku of the PDK could also take charge of the Assembly.

In a Facebook post, he drew attention once again to the proposal Albin Kurti had presented to Bedri Hamza.

According to Abrashi, Vlora Çitaku could be elected Speaker of the Assembly if Bedri Hamza accepts Albin Kurti’s offer. He wrote that the PDK would secure the post of Assembly Speaker only on the condition that it did not obstruct the election of the new president.

In his latest letter to Hamza, Kurti, among other things, reiterated the offer following the refusal to meet.

Kurti said that, in exchange for remaining in the chamber and participating in the vote for the new President of the Republic, they were prepared to swap the post of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly belonging to the PDK with the position of Speaker of the Assembly held by LVV. According to him, this would constitute a contribution by Hamza, while the PDK would gain control of one of the three highest state political offices in the Republic of Kosovo.

Artan Abrashi, deputet i LVV-së, ka thënë se edhe Vlora Çitaku nga PDK-ja mund ta marrë drejtimin e Kuvendit.

Në një reagim në Facebook, ai riktheu në vëmendje propozimin që Albin Kurti ia kishte paraqitur Bedri Hamzës.

Sipas Abrashit, Vlora Çitaku mund të zgjidhet kryetare e Kuvendit nëse Bedri Hamza e pranon ofertën e Albin Kurtit. Ai shkroi se PDK-ja do ta siguronte postin e kryeparlamentarit vetëm me kusht që të mos pengonte zgjedhjen e presidentit të ri.

Në letrën më të fundit drejtuar Hamzës, Kurti, ndër të tjera, i përsëriste ofertën për shkak të refuzimit të takimit.

Kurti shprehej se, në këmbim të qëndrimit në sallë dhe pjesëmarrjes në votimin për President/e të ri/e të Republikës, ishin të gatshëm të bënin rokadë mes postit të nënkryetarit/es së Kuvendit që i takon PDK-së dhe pozitës së kryetarit/es së Kuvendit nga LVV-ja. Sipas tij, ky do të përbënte kontribut nga Hamza, ndërsa PDK-ja do të përfitonte drejtimin e njërës prej tri pozitave të larta politike shtetërore në Republikën e Kosovës.

Vlora Çitaku, Secretary-General of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, met today with the French Republic’s Minister for Europe, Benjamin Haddad. The talks focused on political developments in Kosovo and the region.

Çitaku expressed her gratitude for France’s continued support for the Republic of Kosovo and called for that support to be stepped up, particularly regarding the country’s integration processes.

According to Çitaku, France has been and remains one of Kosovo’s main partners and allies, and its assistance has been vital to the country.

She called on France to encourage other European Union member states to devote greater attention to Kosovo, especially now that the country’s integration processes have stalled.

During the meeting, Çitaku and Haddad agreed that Kosovo’s future, like that of the entire region, lies in the European Union.

Çitaku was accompanied by MPs Përparim Gruda and Blerta Deliu-Kodra, as well as Ardian Arifaj, chief of staff to PDK leader Bedri Hamza.

Vlora Çitaku, Sekretare e Përgjithshme e Partisë Demokratike të Kosovës, zhvilloi sot një takim me ministrin për Evropën të Republikës së Francës, Benjamin Haddad. Në fokus të bisedës ishin zhvillimet politike në Kosovë dhe në rajon.

Çitaku shprehu mirënjohjen për mbështetjen e vazhdueshme që Franca i ka dhënë Republikës së Kosovës, ndërsa kërkoi intensifikimin e kësaj përkrahjeje, veçanërisht për proceset integruese.

Sipas saj, Franca ka qenë dhe vazhdon të jetë ndër partnerët dhe aleatët kryesorë të Kosovës, ndërsa ndihma e saj ka pasur rëndësi qenësore për vendin.

Ajo i bëri thirrje Francës që të nxisë edhe vendet e tjera anëtare të Bashkimit Evropian t’i kushtojnë vëmendje më të madhe Kosovës, sidomos tani që proceset integruese të vendit kanë ngecur.

Gjatë takimit, Çitaku dhe Haddad ndanë të njëjtin qëndrim se e ardhmja e Kosovës, sikurse ajo e të gjithë rajonit, gjendet në Bashkimin Evropian.

Çitaku shoqërohej nga deputetët Përparim Gruda dhe Blerta Deliu-Kodra, si dhe nga Ardian Arifaj, shef i kabinetit të kryetarit të PDK-së, Bedri Hamza.
