This morning, August 9, 2026, a tragic incident occurred in Ksamil, where a 4-year-old girl died after she was accidentally struck by a vehicle driven by her father.

The incident occurred in a private parking lot. According to preliminary information, while maneuvering an “Audi” with license plates CS 440 PP, Ergys Marku struck his 4-year-old daughter, Ajla Marku.

Despite efforts to save her, the child did not survive and died from her injuries.

Saranda police have launched an investigation to fully establish and document the circumstances of the incident.
