The funeral ceremony is scheduled to take place in the village of Prapashticë, on “Naser Hasani” street, starting at 17:00.

The young man’s lifeless body was found yesterday, after search efforts had been carried out for two consecutive days. It is suspected that he fell into the water from a watercraft (boat).

The family’s announcement states: “Our pain is great, but the memory of Lirim will always remain alive in our hearts”.

The 25-year-old was recovered from the lake today, while the search for him had begun yesterday by specialized FSK diver units and other local authorities.

In a public post, Bulliqi thanked the emergency teams and citizens who took part in this difficult operation.

“I have just been informed that the lifeless body of the young man has been found in Batllava Lake. On my own behalf and on behalf of the Municipality of Podujeva, I express my most sincere condolences to the family for the loss of their loved one. I thank the teams of the Kosovo Security Force, the Kosovo Police, the Firefighters, the Podujeva Main Family Medicine Center, and all the citizens who contributed to this search-and-rescue operation. God willing, may we not have such grave cases for any of us,” Bulliqi wrote.

The spokesperson for the Kosovo Security Force, Vëllazërim Qerimi, said the operation had been suspended last night after 21:00 due to darkness, while its resumption was scheduled for today from 09:00.

“The operation was concluded yesterday after 21:00 due to the conditions and will resume today around 08:30–9:00. The search will continue until the operation is completed,” said Qerimi.

A day earlier, media reported that the young man suspected of having fallen from the watercraft is L. Ruhani.
