Customs Administration Director Boban Nikollovski announced today that 12 attempts to smuggle more than 27,000 pharmaceutical products and medical devices have been recorded this year.

According to him, these cases demonstrate that the work of Customs is not limited to revenue collection but also has a direct impact on safeguarding the health and safety of Macedonian citizens.

Nikollovski stressed that, in addition to curbing illegal trade, the seizure of medicines is also an essential preventive measure to protect public health.

Drejtori i Drejtorisë Doganore, Boban Nikollovski, bëri të ditur sot se gjatë këtij viti janë evidentuar 12 tentativa për futjen kontrabandë të më shumë se 27,000 produkteve farmaceutike dhe pajisjeve mjekësore.

Sipas tij, këto raste dëshmojnë se veprimtaria e Doganës nuk kufizohet vetëm te grumbullimi i të ardhurave, por ndikon drejtpërdrejt edhe në garantimin e shëndetit dhe sigurisë së qytetarëve maqedonas.

Nikollovski nënvizoi se sekuestrimi i ilaçeve, përveçse pengon tregtinë e paligjshme, përbën edhe një masë thelbësore parandaluese për mbrojtjen e shëndetit publik.
