Albin Kurti, leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, and Lumir Abdixhiku, head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, have met twice to discuss the possibility of an agreement on forming new institutions.

Even after these discussions, the parties have not announced any concrete results and have not reached a cooperation agreement.

Blerim Sinani, a member of the LDK, told “Bota Sot” that his party is seeking a comprehensive and balanced agreement that would ensure institutional stability and take into account the political weight of both sides.

Sinani said the door to an agreement had not been closed, but that one could be reached only if there was political will and a readiness to compromise. He stressed that citizens need functioning institutions, but not an agreement reached at any cost.

“The LDK’s position is that the agreement must be comprehensive and balanced, guaranteeing institutional stability and respecting the political weight of each side. Without such an agreement, cooperation would not be in the interests of either the LDK or Kosovo,” he said.

“I believe an agreement is still possible if all parties demonstrate political will and a willingness to compromise. Citizens expect functioning institutions, but not at any cost. The agreement must serve the state and be based on respect for the partnership between the parties,” Sinani said.

Albin Kurti, kryetar i Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, dhe Lumir Abdixhiku, në krye të Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës, janë takuar dy herë për të diskutuar mundësinë e një marrëveshjeje për krijimin e institucioneve të reja.

Edhe pas këtyre kontakteve, palët nuk kanë bërë të ditur ndonjë rezultat konkret dhe nuk kanë arritur marrëveshje për bashkëpunim.

Blerim Sinani, anëtar i LDK-së, deklaroi për “Bota sot” se partia e tij kërkon një marrëveshje gjithëpërfshirëse dhe të ekuilibruar, e cila do të siguronte stabilitet institucional dhe do të merrte parasysh peshën politike të të dyja palëve.

Sinani vlerësoi se hapësira për një marrëveshje nuk është mbyllur, por kjo mund të arrihet vetëm nëse ekziston vullnet politik dhe gatishmëri për kompromis. Ai theksoi se qytetarët kanë nevojë për institucione funksionale, por jo për një marrëveshje të arritur me çdo kusht.

“Qëndrimi i LDK-së është që marrëveshja duhet të jetë e plotë dhe e balancuar, duke garantuar stabilitetin e institucioneve dhe duke respektuar peshën politike të secilës palë. Në mungesë të një marrëveshjeje të tillë, bashkëpunimi nuk do të ishte në interesin e LDK-së dhe as të Kosovës”, u shpreh ai.

“Besoj se ende ka mundësi për marrëveshje, nëse të gjitha palët tregojnë vullnet politik dhe prirje për kompromis. Qytetarët presin institucione që funksionojnë, por jo me çdo çmim. Marrëveshja duhet t’i shërbejë shtetit dhe të bazohet në respektimin e partneritetit mes palëve”, tha Sinani.

Dy takime janë zhvilluar mes kryetarit të Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti, dhe kreut të Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës, Lumir Abdixhiku, në kuadër të përpjekjeve për një marrëveshje që do t’i hapte rrugë krijimit të institucioneve të reja.

Megjithatë, bisedimet e deritanishme nuk kanë prodhuar ende ndonjë rezultat konkret dhe palët nuk kanë arritur marrëveshje.

Sipas Sinanit, hapësira për arritjen e marrëveshjes vazhdon të jetë e hapur, me kusht që të gjitha palët të tregojnë vullnet politik dhe gatishmëri për kompromis.

Ai shtoi se qytetarët presin ngritjen e institucioneve funksionale, por kjo nuk duhet të ndodhë me çdo çmim. Në vlerësimin e tij, marrëveshja duhet të jetë në dobi të shtetit dhe të ruajë respektin për partneritetin ndërmjet palëve.

Në fund të fundit, qytetarët presin institucione funksionale, por jo me çdo kusht. Marrëveshja duhet t’i shërbejë shtetit dhe të bazohet në respektimin e partneritetit mes palëve”, tha ai.
