Benita Zena has reacted for the first time after the end of her journey on Big Brother, talking about her elimination just before the final and the support she received from the public.

In an interview for the show “Albanian Artists”, asked by host Butrint Pasjaqa why she thought she was eliminated at a moment when she was gaining more and more public sympathy, Benita said she had sensed that such a scenario could happen. She said her exit was not a complete surprise, as during the show she had picked up on some signals from the public’s reactions.

“To be honest, it wasn’t a surprise for me. I expected it up to a point. When I heard the public and when Jonida said Benita or Hygerta, when I felt the Bugatti, I said: I’m gone. When it dragged on, I said for sure an injustice will happen,” she said.

Benita said that although she didn’t reach the final, for her the biggest victory was the love and support she received from the public.

“I won the public’s heart and the final means nothing. Maybe I even deserved to win,” she declared.

During the interview, the former housemate also talked about Klodi and Elijona’s wedding, one of the moments that attracted attention during her stay in the reality show.

According to Benita, in a format like Big Brother emotions, drama and intense moments are a natural part of the game. “When you’re in a reality show, like it or not, you’ve entered to make a show. When people turn on the TV they want to see scenes, drama and interesting moments. Not a single tear was fake. There was a bit of show and a bit of truth,” she said.

Benita said that her Big Brother journey gave her a strong connection with the public, which she considers an important achievement despite not reaching the final.

Në një intervistë për emisionin “Artistët Shqiptarë”, e pyetur nga moderatori Butrint Pasjaqa se pse mendon se u eliminua në një moment kur po fitonte gjithnjë e më shumë simpatinë e publikut, Benita tha se e kishte ndjerë se një skenar i tillë mund të ndodhte.
Ajo tregoi se largimi i saj nuk ishte një surprizë e plotë, pasi gjatë spektaklit kishte kuptuar disa sinjale nga reagimet e publikut.

“Me të treguar të drejtën, nuk ka qenë diçka befasi për mua. E kam pritur deri në një moment. Kur e kam dëgjuar publikun dhe kur Jonida thotë Benita apo Hygerta, kur e kam ndjerë Bugattin, thashë: shkova unë. Kur u zgjat, thashë se me siguri do të ndodhë një padrejtësi”, u shpreh ajo.

Benita tha se edhe pse nuk arriti të shkonte deri në finale, për të fitorja më e madhe ishte dashuria dhe mbështetja që mori nga publiku.

“E kam marrë zemrën e publikut dhe finalja nuk është asgjë. E kam merituar ndoshta edhe fitoren”, deklaroi ajo.

Gjatë intervistës, ish-banorja foli edhe për dasmën e Klodit dhe Elijonës, një nga momentet që mori vëmendje gjatë qëndrimit të saj në reality show.

Sipas Benitës, në një format si Big Brother emocionet, dramat dhe momentet e forta janë pjesë e natyrshme e lojës.
“Kur je në një reality show, deshe apo nuk deshe, ke hyrë për të bërë show. Njerëzit kur e hapin televizorin duan të shohin skena, drama dhe momente interesante. Asnjë lot nuk ka qenë fals. Ka pasur pak shou dhe pak përnjëmend”, tha ajo.

Benita u shpreh se rrugëtimi i saj në Big Brother i dha një lidhje të fortë me publikun, të cilën e konsideron një arritje të rëndësishme pavarësisht se nuk arriti finalen.

Invited to the podcast hosted by Grida Duma, Egli was asked if she was aware of the impact she had on the public and how her life changed after millions followed her every day.

She expressed that such an experience is difficult to understand from the outside, as the isolation completely disconnects you from ordinary reality.

“When you enter there, you don’t know if life outside continues the same. You disconnect totally from reality. You no longer live in that world you left behind, but only in that space, with those people and those situations that become your entire world,” said Egli.

According to her, it is precisely this reality created inside the house that makes the emotions and bonds between residents felt differently, because they share every moment together and have no contact with life outside.

Egli’s statement relates to her relationship with Gjesti, which began during the stay on Big Brother VIP and became one of the most talked-about stories of that edition.

The pair had constant ups and downs and separated shortly after the format ended.

She spoke openly about her time inside the Big Brother house, stressing that she was unable to show her most positive side during the game.

According to Benita, the Big Brother format itself requires a strategic approach that she refused to follow.

“Big Brother was a good experience for me, but also an exhausting one. I didn’t show my positivity because Big Brother is a game where you can’t show positivity; you just have to know how to play a role well in order to come across as ‘fake,’ and I can’t do that. Big Brother simply brought out a temperamental side of me that I have, but that the public had not known before,” she said.

In the same video, she also raised accusations about the way this year’s edition unfolded, describing the experience as difficult at certain moments.

According to her, there were times when she even considered leaving the competition.

“This year, a lot of injustices happened. At times I even thought about leaving the house, but I stayed to fight the injustices,” she added.

At the end of her statement, the former contestant also gave her opinion on how, in her view, the game should work, making a comment that was interpreted as a hint toward another former contestant, Eliona.

“Big Brother is a game to be played and to show your side. I would make a rule not to have stories or life confessions, just to play. So that the public, if they like you, likes you as a player and not because of your life story,” she concluded, among other things.

Ajo ka folur hapur rreth qëndrimit të saj në shtëpinë e Big Brother, duke theksuar se nuk ka arritur ta shfaqë anën e saj më pozitive gjatë lojës.

Sipas Benitës, vetë formati i Big Brother kërkon një qasje strategjike që ajo nuk ka pranuar ta ndjekë.

“Bigu ka qenë eksperiencë e mirë për mua, por edhe e lodhshme. Nuk e kam treguar pozitivitetin tim sepse Bigu është një lojë ku nuk mundesh me tregu pozitivitet, veç duhet me ditë me luajt mirë një rol për me u tregu ‘fake’ (e shtirur), e unë nuk mundem ashtu. Bigu thjesht ma ka nxjerrë një anë temperament që e kam, por që publiku nuk ma ka njohur më parë”, u shpreh ajo.

Në të njëjtën video, ka ngritur edhe akuza për mënyrën se si është zhvilluar edicioni i këtij viti, duke e cilësuar përvojën si të vështirë në disa momente.

Sipas saj, ka pasur raste kur ka menduar edhe të largohet nga gara.

“Këtë vit kanë ndodhur shumë padrejtësi. Kam menduar ndonjëherë edhe me dalë prej shtëpisë, por kam qëndruar për me luftu padrejtësitë”, shtoi tutje.

Në fund të deklaratës, ish-banorja dha edhe një mendim për mënyrën se si, sipas saj, duhet të funksionojë loja, duke lënë një koment që është interpretuar si një nënkuptim ndaj ish-banores tjetër, Elionës.

“Bigu është lojë për me lujt e me tregu anën tënde. Unë e kisha bërë një rregull mos me pas histori apo rrëfime të jetës, veç me luajt. Që publiku, nëse të do, të do si lojtar dhe jo për historinë e jetës”, përfundoi mes tjerash.
