During the match between Albania and Belarus, fans of the Albanian national team expressed their support for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

Albania began its campaign in League C of the Nations League with a victory, defeating Belarus 2–0.

National flags were waved in the stands, while fans unfurled a banner reading “Not in my name.” The message came following reactions and protests launched after the September 16 judgment against four former KLA leaders.

During the match, fans repeatedly chanted “KLA, KLA.” Other banners were also seen in the stadium, including one reading “Temporary shackles, eternal history.”

Albania is in the same group as Finland, Belarus and San Marino. In three days, the Red and Blacks will play away against San Marino.
