Alliance MP Bekë Berisha joined the protest held outside the government building against the Specialist Chambers’ guilty verdict against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

He said he had been convinced that Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi would be released by the Specialist Chambers.

“I expected them to be released. I was convinced they would be released, and I thought they wouldn’t even convict our allies, our liberators. This is unprecedented and has never happened anywhere,” Berisha said.

According to the MP, the verdict has highlighted that the KLA is not serving as a unifying factor for the citizens of Kosovo, but is creating a divide between those with patriotic feelings and others who, as he put it, do not share those feelings.

“Many are saying that the KLA unites us, but it can be seen that the KLA is dividing us into patriotic people and others who do not share these feelings,” he added.

Ai deklaroi se kishte qenë i bindur që Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi dhe Rexhep Selimi do të liroheshin nga Specialja.

“Kam prit që kanë me i liru. Jam kanë i bindur që kanë me u liru dhe kam mendu që nuk i dënon as aleatët tonë, çlirimtarët tonë. Kjo është e paprecedentë dhe nuk ka ndodhë ndonjëherë diku”, u shpreh Berisha.

Sipas deputetit, vendimi ka nxjerrë në pah se UÇK-ja nuk po shërben si faktor bashkues për qytetarët e Kosovës, por po krijon një ndarje ndërmjet atyre me ndjenja atdhetare dhe të tjerëve që, siç tha ai, nuk i kanë këto ndjenja.

“Po thonë plot që UÇK-ja na bashkon, por po shihet se UÇK-ja po na ndan në njerëz atdhetarë dhe do të tjerë që nuk i kanë këto ndjenja”, shtoi ai.

Hysamedin Feraj, an adviser to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, reacted on Facebook following the brawl in the Assembly, criticizing the opposition for failing to say, “Down with Serbia.”

In his post, Feraj asks whether this may be linked to the possibility that Serbia could revoke Enver Hoxhaj’s political asylum as an opponent of the KLA.

He also mentions Vlora Çitaku, claiming that her lobbying efforts to give territory to Serbia could go to waste.

Feraj writes that a project had been firmly established in Kosovo, but that LVV dismantled it, causing, in his words, the “installers” to “go mad.”

Finally, he leaves open the possibility that many others may also have reasons for not uttering the slogan “Down with Serbia!”

Ai përmend gjithashtu Vlora Çitakun, duke ngritur pretendimin se asaj mund t’i shkojë dëm lobimi për t’i dhënë territor Serbisë.

Feraj shkruan se një projekt ishte ngritur fuqishëm në Kosovë, por se LVV-ja e çmontoi atë, duke bërë që, sipas tij, “montatorët” të “çmendeshin”.

Në fund, ai lë të hapur mundësinë që edhe shumë të tjerë të kenë arsye pse nuk e shqiptojnë thirrjen “Poshtë Serbia!”.
