Nazim Pira, 61, has died after reportedly falling on the floor of his home’s balcony in Pozheran, Viti.

Gjilan regional police spokesperson Valon Osmani told Klankosova.tv that worsening weather conditions are believed to have caused the victim to accidentally slip on the balcony. As a result, he sustained head injuries.

The 61-year-old was transported by ambulance to the Emergency Center at Gjilan General Hospital. However, the attending doctor confirmed that he had arrived with no signs of life.

News of his death was also met with sorrow by KF Vllaznia Pozheran, which described Pira as one of the club’s most devoted supporters.

“At this difficult time, we extend our sincerest condolences to the Pira family, his relatives, friends, and everyone who knew and appreciated him. We hope you find the strength, patience, and comfort to cope with this great loss,” the condolence message said, among other things.

Valmir Sahiti, chairman of the Democratic Youth in Viti, also extended his condolences to the Pira family.

“My sincerest condolences to the Pira family from Pozheran on the loss of their family member. At the same time, I wish a speedy recovery to the two other people injured in today’s storm,” Sahiti wrote.
