Bajram Binaku, a member of the General Council of the Vetëvendosje Movement and a professor, has reacted to the so-called “Deçan Movement,” claiming that external factors and religious groups have influenced Kosovo’s social and political developments since the war.

According to him, the end of the war in 1999 and the declaration of independence in 2008 did not mark the end of the clashes, since afterward, as Binaku writes, a “hybrid war” began.

Binaku also spoke about the creation of several religiously oriented political entities which, according to his claims, included the introduction of religious education in schools and faculties in their programs.

He titled his article “Why Is the Deçan Movement Being Fought?”

Binaku writes that the war for Kosovo’s liberation ended in 1999, while independence was declared in 2008. Nevertheless, according to him, a hybrid war began during the period of freedom, and under the pretext of freedom of expression and political pluralism, internal and external elements used it to create fundamentalist parties and organizations.

He claims that Serbian, Russian, Arab and Turkish agencies initially invested “under the radar,” engaging in educating young people in computer science and the humanities, and later directing them toward prayer and religious education. According to him, this occurred during the 3–4 years after the liberation.

Religiously based parties, Binaku continues, were created when they determined that the political conditions were suitable for action. He mentions the PD, FJALA and several other entities, saying that their official programs spoke of morality, care for parents and equality, while their essential aim, according to him, was to introduce religious education in schools and faculties.

The professor claims that Islamic clerics, exploiting their influence over the masses and the favorable political moment, incited hatred through their sermons toward the Christian world, which, according to him, had fought even harder than Albanians to break away from Serbia.

In the same article, Binaku accuses the Islamic clerics of being paid to “sell their souls” to the Serbian occupier and the Arab-Turkish eastern world. As an example, he mentions Hysri Selimi’s sentence of 6 years in prison, describing it as one of the cases uncovered by the KIA.

He also refers to a project called “Top Secret,” which, he says, was drawn up in Belgrade with the aim of making Kosovo look like Kandahar after 20 years.

According to Binaku, hundreds of mosques were built along the edges of roads through the Islamic clerics, and religious schools or mektebs were opened in some of them. He claims that, alongside this, the wearing of the hijab by women, sharia as the constitution, hatred toward the Christian world and support for international terrorism were being demanded.

Considering this a danger, albeit belatedly, a gathering was organized in Deçan, where the voluntary departure from the Islamic faith was decided, Binaku writes. According to him, the participants sought only the expression of their free will to leave Islam because of its anti-national activity.

Binaku describes the Deçan Movement as the first anti-religious spark against an anti-national program which, he claims, was part of the Islamic clerics’ strategy.

He says that afterward, as a result of this movement, the Movement for Return, Shqiptaria and the Movement for Return to Catholicism were created. According to him, these initiatives do not contradict one another, as they are united in their aim of protecting the nation from “traitorous” elements, those who have sold themselves and foreign agencies.

In conclusion, Binaku writes that the Islamic clerics believe they have found the “snake” in the Deçan Movement and that they must “strike its head.” He adds that they no longer enjoy people’s trust.

Referring to the protests in Vushtrri against the church in Zogaj, where protesters carried national and Kosovo flags, Binaku says that these efforts are futile and claims that Kosovo is driving away all its enemies and traitors. According to him, the case of Fatmir Sheholli will constitute a new chapter in exposing the faces of the traitors, while he adds that “prison awaits with its doors open.”

Anëtari i Këshillit të Përgjithshëm të Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, profesori Bajram Binaku, ka reaguar për të ashtuquajturën “Lëvizja e Deçanit”, duke pretenduar se në zhvillimet shoqërore dhe politike të Kosovës pas luftës kanë ndikuar faktorë të jashtëm dhe grupe fetare.

Sipas tij, përfundimi i luftës në vitin 1999 dhe shpallja e pavarësisë në vitin 2008 nuk shënuan mbylljen e përplasjeve, pasi më pas, siç shkruan Binaku, nisi një “luftë hibride”.

Binaku ka folur gjithashtu për krijimin e disa subjekteve politike me orientim fetar, të cilat, sipas pretendimeve të tij, në programet e tyre parashikonin përfshirjen e mësimit fetar në shkolla dhe fakultete.

Shkrimin e tij, ai e ka titulluar “Përse luftohet Lëvizja e Deçanit?”.

Binaku shkruan se lufta për çlirimin e Kosovës përfundoi në vitin 1999, ndërsa pavarësia u shpall në vitin 2008. Megjithatë, sipas tij, në periudhën e lirisë nisi një luftë hibride, e cila, nën justifikimin e lirisë së shprehjes dhe pluralizmit politik, u shfrytëzua nga elementë të brendshëm dhe të jashtëm për krijimin e partive e organizatave fundamentaliste.

Ai pretendon se agjentura serbe, ruse, arabe dhe turke investuan fillimisht “nën plaf”, duke u angazhuar në edukimin e të rinjve në kompjuterikë dhe humanizëm, për t’i orientuar më pas drejt namazit dhe edukimit fetar. Sipas tij, kjo ndodhi gjatë 3-4 viteve pas çlirimit.

Partitë me bazë fetare, vijon Binaku, u krijuan kur vlerësuan se kushtet politike ishin të përshtatshme për veprim. Ai përmend PD-në, Fjalën dhe disa subjekte të tjera, duke thënë se në programet e tyre zyrtare flitej për moralin, kujdesin ndaj prindërve dhe barazinë, ndërsa synimi thelbësor, sipas tij, ishte futja e mësimit fetar në shkolla dhe fakultete.

Profesori pretendon se hoxhollarët, duke shfrytëzuar ndikimin mbi masat dhe momentin e favorshëm politik, nxitnin përmes ligjëratave urrejtje ndaj botës së krishterë, e cila, sipas tij, kishte luftuar edhe më shumë se shqiptarët për t’u shkëputur nga Serbia.

Po në shkrim, Binaku akuzon hoxhollarët se paguheshin duke “shitur shpirtin” te okupatori serb dhe bota lindore arabo-turke. Si shembull, ai përmend dënimin e Hysri Selimit me 6 vite burgim, duke e cilësuar si një nga rastet e zbuluara nga AKI.

Ai i referohet edhe një projekti të quajtur “Top sekret”, për të cilin thotë se ishte hartuar në Beograd me synimin që, pas 20 vjetësh, Kosova të dukej si Kandahari.

Sipas Binakut, përmes hoxhollarëve u ndërtuan qindra xhami në skaje të rrugëve dhe u hapën shkolla fetare apo mejtepe në disa prej tyre. Ai pretendon se krahas kësaj kërkohej vendosja e hixhabit për gratë, sheriati si kushtetutë, urrejtja ndaj botës së krishterë dhe mbështetja e terrorizmit ndërkombëtar.

Duke e konsideruar këtë një rrezik, edhe pse me vonesë, u organizua tubimi në Deçan, ku u vendos largimi vullnetar nga besimi islam, shkruan Binaku. Sipas tij, pjesëmarrësit kërkuan vetëm shprehjen e vullnetit të lirë për t’u larguar nga Islami, për shkak të veprimit të tij antikombëtar.

Binaku e përshkruan Lëvizjen e Deçanit si shkëndijën e parë antifetare kundër një programi antikombëtar, për të cilin pretendon se ishte pjesë e strategjisë së hoxhollarëve.

Ai thotë se më pas, si pasojë e kësaj lëvizjeje, u krijuan Lëvizja për Rikthim, Shqiptaria dhe Lëvizja për Rikthim në Katolicizëm. Sipas tij, këto iniciativa nuk bien ndesh me njëra-tjetrën, pasi bashkohen në synimin për mbrojtjen e kombit nga elementët “tradhtarë”, të shiturit dhe agjenturat e huaja.

Në përfundim, Binaku shkruan se hoxhollarët besojnë se e kanë gjetur “gjarpërin” te Lëvizja e Deçanit dhe se duhet “t’i mëshojnë kokës”. Ai shton se ata nuk gëzojnë më besimin e njerëzve.

Duke iu referuar protestave në Vushtrri kundër kishës në Zogaj, ku protestuesit mbanin flamuj kombëtarë dhe të Kosovës, Binaku shprehet se këto përpjekje janë të kota dhe pretendon se Kosova po i largon të gjithë armiqtë dhe tradhtarët e saj. Sipas tij, rasti i Fatmir Shehollit do të përbëjë një kapitull të ri në zbulimin e fytyrave të tradhtarëve, ndërsa shton se “burgu i pret dyer hapur”.
