Prosecutor Bahri Hyseni, who heads the Asset Recovery Office (ARO) at the State Chief Prosecutor’s Office, held a meeting with authorized representatives from the Kosovo Police, Tax Administration, Financial Intelligence Unit, and Customs.

According to the issued statement, the discussions centered on the progress of active cases, the preparation of a conceptual document, the observations expected to be addressed, the existing legal framework of the ARO, and the objectives set for the upcoming period.

Hyseni informed those present about an upcoming meeting in early September that will bring together the ARO and the Asset Recovery Units (ARO) from law enforcement agencies of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo) and Albania.

At the close of the meeting, the institutions agreed to deepen cooperation, aiming to strengthen performance in asset recovery and achieve common goals.

Prokurori Bahri Hyseni, i cili udhëheq Zyrën për Rikthimin e Aseteve (ZRA) pranë Zyrës së Kryeprokurorit të Shtetit, ka mbajtur një mbledhje me përfaqësues të autorizuar nga Policia e Kosovës, Administrata Tatimore, Njësia për Inteligjencë Financiare dhe Dogana.

Bazuar në komunikatën e lëshuar, në qendër të bisedimeve ishte ecuria e rasteve aktive, përgatitja e një dokumenti konceptual, vërejtjet që pritet të trajtohen, korniza ligjore ekzistuese e ZRA-së dhe objektivat e parapara për periudhën në vijim.

Hyseni i njoftoi të pranishmit për një takim të ardhshëm që do të mbledhë në fillim të shtatorit ZRA-në dhe Njësitë e Rikuperimit të Aseteve (ARO) nga organet e zbatimit të ligjit të Bosnjë e Hercegovinës (Sarajevë) dhe Shqipërisë.

Në mbyllje të takimit, institucionet ranë dakord të thellojnë bashkëpunimin, me synim fuqizimin e performancës në rikuperimin e aseteve dhe arritjen e qëllimeve të përbashkëta.
