In a post on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Edi Rama has again responded to the latest debates involving Serbia and Kosovo over the Ibar River, defending his statement a day earlier that “Serbia lost Kosovo.”

Rama said he has a special way of measuring the accuracy of his positions when he speaks about Serbia. He referred to his critics in Pristina as “the army of nationalist turbo-folk trolls.”

“Whenever that army is unleashed across social media channels to vent its blind hatred toward me, I consider my duty as prime minister of this country successfully fulfilled, whether toward Albania, Kosovo, or regional peace and cooperation 🇦🇱🇽🇰🇪🇺🇷🇸.

Yesterday, too, the laboratory worked perfectly, with the trolls being unleashed to reaffirm that I am a traitor because I said Serbia lost Kosovo, during my intervention in the dignified debate of recent days between our authorities and those of Serbia over the inviolability of the Ibar River,” Rama wrote.

That Serbia lost Kosovo is simply a fact, as searing for nationalist turbo-folk in Belgrade as it is irritating for nationalist turbo-folk in Pristina, and their renewed alignment yesterday in their pathetic opposition to me is simply another compliment for the diplomacy of Albania, the Europe of the Balkans 🇦🇱❤️🇪🇺
