VLEN has renewed its demand for clarification regarding the tragedy in Tetovo, addressing BDI leader Ali Ahmeti and the Prosecutor’s Office over the decision to close the proceedings related to the procurement of 19 modular hospitals.

According to the party, Ahmeti and BDI were expected to respond following its statement a day earlier, but no response has been given. VLEN stressed that the silence continues even in the face of the tragic incident in Tetovo that claimed the lives of 14 people.

The opposition party also wants to know on what grounds the Prosecutor’s Office decided to close the proceedings concerning the procurement of the modular hospitals. VLEN is seeking a full explanation on the matter from Islam Abazi, who currently heads the Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption.

VLEN believes the matter involves not only legal but also political responsibility. According to the party, the tragedy occurred while BDI was in power, and five years after the investigation began, the victims’ families still face many unanswered questions.

“Yesterday we demanded answers. Today we demand even greater transparency,” VLEN said in its statement. According to the party, the conclusion of proceedings does not put an end to the questions, nor does it eliminate political responsibility.

VLEN said it would continue to keep the issue at the center of public attention until clear answers are provided regarding the circumstances surrounding the 14 victims of the Tetovo tragedy.

VLEN ka përsëritur kërkesën për sqarime lidhur me tragjedinë në Tetovë, duke iu drejtuar kryetarit të BDI-së, Ali Ahmeti, si dhe Prokurorisë për vendimin për mbylljen e procedurës që lidhet me prokurimin e 19 spitaleve modulare.

Sipas kësaj partie, pas reagimit të një dite më parë, pritej që Ahmeti dhe BDI-ja të jepnin një përgjigje, por kjo nuk ka ndodhur. VLEN thekson se mungesa e reagimit vijon edhe përballë ngjarjes tragjike ku në Tetovë humbën jetën 14 persona.

Partia opozitare kërkon gjithashtu të dijë se mbi çfarë baze Prokuroria vendosi të mbyllë procedurën për prokurimet e spitaleve modulare. Për këtë çështje, VLEN kërkon një shpjegim të plotë nga Islam Abazi, i cili aktualisht drejton Prokurorinë për Ndjekjen e Krimit të Organizuar dhe Korrupsionit.

VLEN vlerëson se çështja nuk përmban vetëm përgjegjësi juridike, por edhe politike. Sipas partisë, tragjedia ndodhi në periudhën kur BDI-ja ishte në pushtet, ndërsa pesë vite pas nisjes së hetimit familjet e viktimave ende përballen me shumë pyetje pa përgjigje.

“Dje kërkuam përgjigje. Sot kërkojmë edhe më shumë transparencë”, thuhet në reagimin e VLEN-it. Sipas kësaj partie, përfundimi i një procedure nuk i mbyll pyetjet dhe as nuk e shmang përgjegjësinë politike.

According to Thaçi, no document proposing the partition of Macedonia ever existed. He said the idea had been promoted by several pseudo-academics who, according to him, were acting under the instructions of Serbia’s UDB.

Thaçi stressed that the proposal had not been an initiative of the Academy of Sciences and that Arben Xhaferi had not possessed any such document because, as he put it, the document did not exist. He also claimed that the UDB had suggested to Ali Ahmeti that this was the way to destroy the political organization of Albanians, while describing Ahmeti’s statements about the document’s existence as unfounded.

Thaçi’s reaction followed statements made during the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Ohrid Agreement. After former minister Vlado Bučkovski spoke about a plan to partition Macedonia, Ali Ahmeti confirmed that the partition project had been in his hands.

The DUI leader said he had received the document from senior authorities but had not accepted it. Ahmeti explained his position by saying that, under that project, he would have become part of Albania, while the Albanians of Skopje would not have joined him. He added that Skopje, Kumanovo, Struga, Kičevo, Prilep and Veles would have remained outside Albania’s borders.

Thaçi, in his capacity as leader of the DPA, warned that he would sue Ali Ahmeti in court on behalf of Arben Xhaferi if Ahmeti continued to make such statements. According to him, an allegation of this nature is unacceptable.

Sipas Thaçit, nuk ka ekzistuar asnjë dokument që parashikonte ndarjen e Maqedonisë. Ai deklaroi se kjo ide ishte promovuar nga disa pseudo-akademikë, të cilët, sipas tij, vepronin nën udhëzimet e UDB-së së Serbisë.

Thaçi theksoi se propozimi nuk kishte qenë nismë e Akademisë së Shkencave dhe se as Arben Xhaferi nuk kishte poseduar ndonjë dokument të tillë, pasi, siç u shpreh ai, ai dokument nuk ekzistonte. Ai pretendoi gjithashtu se UDB-ja i kishte sugjeruar Ali Ahmetit se kjo ishte mënyra për ta shkatërruar organizimin politik të shqiptarëve, ndërsa deklaratat e Ahmetit për ekzistencën e dokumentit i cilësoi të pabaza.

Reagimi i Thaçit pasoi deklaratat e bëra gjatë shënimit të 25-vjetorit të Marrëveshjes së Ohrit. Pasi ish-ministri Vllado Buçkovski foli për një plan për ndarjen e Maqedonisë, Ali Ahmeti konfirmoi se projekti i ndarjes kishte qenë në duart e tij.

Kryetari i BDI-së deklaroi se dokumentin e kishte marrë nga autoritete të larta, por nuk e kishte pranuar. Ahmeti arsyetoi qëndrimin e tij duke thënë se, sipas atij projekti, ai do të ishte pjesë e Shqipërisë, ndërsa shqiptarët e Shkupit nuk do të bashkoheshin me të. Ai shtoi se Shkupi, Kumanova, Struga, Kërçova, Prilepi dhe Velesi do të mbeteshin jashtë kufijve të Shqipërisë.

Thaçi, në cilësinë e kreut të PDSH-së, paralajmëroi se do ta padisë Ali Ahmetin në gjykatë në emër të Arben Xhaferit, nëse ky i fundit vazhdon të bëjë deklarata të tilla. Sipas tij, një denoncim i kësaj natyre është i papranueshëm.

Democratic Union for Integration (BDI) leader Ali Ahmeti has commented on the Albanian Ministry of Interior’s decision to declare Valon Bela and Bekir Halimi undesirable persons.

During an interview on the program “Click,” Ahmeti said the Albanian authorities would not have acted without concrete evidence.

“I believe that Albania’s security services do not take action without strong evidence. If there are any uncertainties, they should be clarified directly with them, but I am fully convinced that the Albanian state does not unjustly target its citizens,” he stressed.

Ali Ahmeti, leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), said on RTV21’s “Click” program that the Ohrid Agreement was the most appropriate solution under the circumstances at the time, describing it as the result of a compromise between the parties.

Ahmeti explained that the agreement was reached during a period when the parties were engaged in armed conflict, while fighting and bombings were taking place on the ground. According to him, the international community was also involved in the process, while the first delegation they met was from NATO.

“At that time, there was no better solution than the Ohrid Agreement. It was a compromise agreement, as the parties to the conflict were facing fierce fighting, bombings and the intervention of the international community,” he said.

The DUI leader also emphasized that the document was signed on two separate pages.

“The agreement was signed on two different pages,” Ahmeti said.

Speaking about the situation of Albanians during that period, he said that they had been denied every right in their own country.

“Albanians had been denied every right in their own country. To make it clearer to the public, Belgrade’s anti-Albanian laboratory experiment had been installed in Skopje,” Ahmeti declared.

According to him, the Ohrid Agreement fulfilled the demands of Albanians, including the official recognition of the Albanian language and national symbols.

Ahmeti said that war had been imposed on Albanians both in Kosovo and in Macedonia.

He criticized the denigration of the Ohrid Agreement, saying that Albanians had also contributed to this process. According to him, Albanian political parties should not repeat this mistake.

“Without having secured legitimacy, these people participate only to secure seats in the country’s government, without fulfilling any of the Albanians’ demands and without meeting any of the obligations arising from the Ohrid Agreement,” Ahmeti said.

He added that as long as the Badinter majority depends on deputies from the European Front, the law on the use of languages will not be adopted.

Kreu i BDI-së, Ali Ahmeti, deklaroi në emisionin “Click” të “RTV21” se Marrëveshja e Ohrit përbënte zgjidhjen më të përshtatshme për rrethanat e asaj kohe, duke e cilësuar atë si rezultat të një kompromisi mes palëve.

Ahmeti shpjegoi se marrëveshja u arrit në një periudhë kur palët ishin në konflikt të armatosur, ndërsa në terren zhvilloheshin luftime dhe bombardime. Sipas tij, në këtë proces u përfshi edhe komuniteti ndërkombëtar, ndërsa delegacioni i parë me të cilin u takuan ishte ai i NATO-s.

“Në atë kohë nuk kishte zgjidhje më të mirë se Marrëveshja e Ohrit. Ajo ishte një marrëveshje kompromisi, pasi palët ndërluftuese po përballeshin me luftime të ashpra, bombardime dhe ndërhyrjen e komunitetit ndërkombëtar”, tha ai.

Lideri i BDI-së theksoi gjithashtu se dokumenti është firmosur në dy faqe të veçanta.

“Marrëveshja është nënshkruar në dy faqe të ndryshme”, u shpreh Ahmeti.

Duke folur për gjendjen e shqiptarëve në atë periudhë, ai tha se atyre u ishte mohuar çdo e drejtë në vendin e tyre.

“Për shqiptarët ishte mohuar çdo e drejtë në vendin e vet. Për ta bërë më të qartë për publikun, eksperimenti laboratorik anti-shqiptar i Beogradit ishte instaluar në Shkup”, deklaroi Ahmeti.

Sipas tij, Marrëveshja e Ohrit përmbushi kërkesat e shqiptarëve, përfshirë zyrtarizimin e gjuhës shqipe dhe të simboleve kombëtare.

Ahmeti tha se lufta iu imponua shqiptarëve si në Kosovë, ashtu edhe në Maqedoni.

Ai kritikoi denigrimin e Marrëveshjes së Ohrit, duke thënë se në këtë proces kanë kontribuar edhe shqiptarët. Sipas tij, partitë politike shqiptare nuk duhet ta përsërisin më këtë gabim.

“Pa e fituar legjitimitetin, këta marrin pjesë vetëm për të zënë kolltukë në qeverisjen e vendit, pa realizuar asnjë kërkesë të shqiptarëve dhe pa përmbushur asnjë detyrim të Marrëveshjes së Ohrit”, tha Ahmeti.

Ai shtoi se, për sa kohë badenteri varet nga deputetët e Frontit Europian, ligji për përdorimin e gjuhëve nuk do të miratohet.

Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) leader Ali Ahmeti has extended his greetings on the Ilinden holiday, saying that the country is moving away from the principles of equality, respect and coexistence embodied in the ideals of the Krusevo Manifesto.

In his message, Ahmeti described the Ohrid Peace Agreement as the modern continuation of the spirit of the Krusevo Manifesto, but claimed that constant attempts are being made to weaken it.

According to him, the direction the country is taking is a cause for concern because of the actions of the current government, including attacks on the official use of the Albanian language and the abolition of mechanisms designed to ensure fair and adequate representation.

Ali Ahmeti’s full message on the occasion of Ilinden:

August 2 reminds us of one of the noblest ideals in our shared history: freedom cannot be built on the superiority of one group over another, but only on respect, equality and coexistence. The spirit of Krusevo issued a call to build a state in which Albanians, Macedonians and all communities share responsibility and the same destiny.

Unfortunately, more than a century later, we are not moving closer to this ideal, but increasingly farther away from it. Partnership is being replaced by a return to a mindset of domination, while exclusion is deepening instead of inclusiveness. Albanians are being pushed to the margins in state institutions, public administration, diplomacy, security, justice, education, culture, healthcare and the economy, as well as in the decision-making processes that determine the future of the state.

The Ohrid Peace Agreement, which represents the modern continuation of the spirit of the Krusevo Manifesto, is also facing relentless attempts to diminish it.

The country’s direction is being accompanied by alarming signs, such as attacks on the official use of Albanian, the abolition of the mechanism that ensured fair and adequate representation, attacks on and the weakening of the mechanism protecting against majoritarian domination, disregard for the reality reflected in the population census, selective justice and the promotion of a monoethnic model of the state.

Even more concerning is the fact that the implementation of these policies is being made possible with the support of certain Albanian representatives. Instead of safeguarding the dignity and will of the citizens they claim to represent, they have chosen to submit to the government. They cannot represent the voice of equality without the legitimacy of the people and the courage needed to defend the national interest.

Despite this, the course chosen by Albanians remains unchanged. Our choice is a shared, unitary, democratic and European North Macedonia, in which no one is treated as less worthy than anyone else and the state belongs equally to all citizens. Only this path leads toward a just state, firmly established within NATO and integrated into the European Union.

On this symbolically significant day, we must not forget that the future cannot be built through fear, exclusion or division. It is built when we regard the country not as the property of one group or another, but as a shared homeland. A strong state and a secure future for all can be built only on equality, mutual respect and sincere partnership.

Data 2 Gusht na kujton një prej idealeve më fisnike të historisë sonë të përbashkët: liria nuk mund të ngrihet mbi epërsinë e njërit ndaj tjetrit, por vetëm mbi respektin, barazinë dhe bashkëjetesën. Fryma e Krushevës përçoi thirrjen për ndërtimin e një shteti ku shqiptarët, maqedonasit dhe të gjitha bashkësitë të kenë përgjegjësi të përbashkët dhe të ndajnë të njëjtin fat.

Për fat të keq, më shumë se një shekull më vonë, ne nuk po i afrohemi këtij ideali, por po largohemi gjithnjë e më shumë prej tij. Partneriteti po zëvendësohet nga rikthimi i mendësisë së dominimit, ndërsa përjashtimi po thellohet në vend të gjithëpërfshirjes. Shqiptarët po shtyhen në margjina në institucionet shtetërore, administratë, diplomaci, siguri, drejtësi, arsim, kulturë, shëndetësi dhe ekonomi, si dhe në proceset vendimmarrëse që përcaktojnë të ardhmen e shtetit.

Edhe Marrëveshja Paqësore e Ohrit, e cila përfaqëson vazhdimësinë bashkëkohore të frymës së Manifestit të Krushevës, po vihet përballë përpjekjeve të pandërprera për ta zbehur atë.

Drejtimi i vendit po shoqërohet me sinjale alarmuese, si goditjet ndaj përdorimit zyrtar të shqipes, shfuqizimi i mekanizmit që siguronte përfaqësim të drejtë dhe adekuat, sulmi dhe dobësimi i mekanizmit mbrojtës nga majorizimi, shpërfillja e realitetit të dalë nga regjistrimi i popullsisë, drejtësia selektive dhe promovimi i një modeli monoetnik të shtetit.

Akoma më shqetësues mbetet fakti se zbatimi i këtyre politikave po bëhet i mundur me përkrahjen e disa përfaqësuesve shqiptarë. Në vend që të ruajnë dinjitetin dhe vullnetin e qytetarëve të cilët pretendojnë se i përfaqësojnë, ata kanë vendosur t’i nënshtrohen pushtetit. Ata nuk mund të përfaqësojnë zërin e barazisë pa pasur legjitimitetin e popullit dhe guximin e nevojshëm për mbrojtjen e interesit kombëtar.

Pavarësisht kësaj, orientimi i shqiptarëve mbetet i pandryshuar. Zgjedhja jonë është një Maqedoni e Veriut e përbashkët, unitare, demokratike dhe evropiane, në të cilën askush nuk trajtohet si më pak i vlefshëm se tjetri dhe shteti u takon në mënyrë të barabartë të gjithë qytetarëve. Vetëm kjo rrugë çon drejt një shteti të drejtë, të konsoliduar në NATO dhe të integruar në Bashkimin Evropian.

Në këtë ditë me domethënie simbolike, duhet të mos harrojmë se e ardhmja nuk mund të krijohet përmes frikës, përjashtimit apo ndarjeve. Ajo ndërtohet kur vendin nuk e konsiderojmë pronë të njërit ose të tjetrit, por atdhe të përbashkët. Një shtet i fuqishëm dhe një e ardhme e sigurt për të gjithë mund të ngrihen vetëm mbi barazinë, respektin e ndërsjellë dhe partneritetin e sinqertë.
