Krujë Police have arrested a 40-year-old man who was wanted and had been sentenced in 2021 to 4 years in prison for the criminal offense of “Cultivating Narcotic Plants.”

The arrested man was identified as Agron Basha.

He was apprehended during the police operation codenamed “Shtegu,” which was carried out to locate and detain the wanted individual.

According to the police statement, officers from the Krujë Police Commissariat obtained information during their operational work about the 40-year-old’s whereabouts and acted on it swiftly.

As part of the operation, A. B., 40, a resident of Tirana, was located, apprehended and handcuffed. The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
