Nexhmi Shabani, the 62-year-old from Kosovo, who was involved in an accident this morning at the Port of Durrës, did not survive his injuries. Official sources indicate that he passed away at Durrës Regional Hospital, where he was rushed after the collision.

The tragic event occurred in the early hours of the day within the port premises. According to initial information, a heavy vehicle driven by 49-year-old Nikolin Merdari, a resident of Berat, struck pedestrian Nexhmi Shabani, a Kosovar citizen who was working as a truck driver.
