The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, held a meeting with Antero Lopes, the new head of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX).

The meeting addressed stability, the rule of law and current developments in Kosovo, as well as the LDK’s positions on these issues. The parties also discussed the need to strengthen the constitutional order, democratic institutions and the rule of law in the country.

According to an LDK statement, Abdixhiku emphasized the importance of close cooperation with international partners and EULEX’s role in supporting Kosovo’s institutions in the areas of the rule of law and security. He expressed the party’s readiness for continued communication and cooperation with EULEX, with the aim of regularly exchanging information and coordinating on issues related to the rule of law, security and the country’s democratic stability.

Kryetari i Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës, Lumir Abdixhiku, zhvilloi një takim me shefin e ri të Misionit të Bashkimit Evropian për Sundimin e Ligjit në Kosovë (EULEX), Antero Lopes.

Gjatë takimit u bisedua për stabilitetin, sundimin e ligjit dhe zhvillimet aktuale në Kosovë, si dhe për qëndrimet e LDK-së lidhur me to. Palët trajtuan gjithashtu nevojën për forcimin e rendit kushtetues, institucioneve demokratike dhe sundimit të ligjit në vend.

Sipas njoftimit të LDK-së, Abdixhiku theksoi rëndësinë e bashkëpunimit të afërt me partnerët ndërkombëtarë dhe rolin e EULEX-it në mbështetjen e institucioneve të Kosovës në fushën e sundimit të ligjit dhe sigurisë. Ai shprehu gatishmërinë e partisë për komunikim dhe bashkëpunim të vazhdueshëm me EULEX-in, me qëllim shkëmbimin e rregullt të informacionit dhe koordinimin për çështjet që lidhen me sundimin e ligjit, sigurinë dhe stabilitetin demokratik të vendit.

Paris Guri, a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo, said that the LDK would not vote to support Kurti’s fourth government.

He made the statement before entering the Assembly building, where a session had been called to form Kurti’s fourth government.

“Of course, we will not vote for Kurti’s government,” Guri said.

Speaking about the election of the president, Guri said there had been no meetings between LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku and LVV leader Albin Kurti.

“There have been no meetings between Kurti and Abdixhiku. As you know, the session has been scheduled for 14:00, and it is impossible for them to be in two places at the same time,” he stressed.

Asked whether another session was expected to be held on the issue of the president, the LDK deputy said he had no information about such a development.

“No, we have no information,” Guri concluded.

Deputeti i Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës, Paris Guri, deklaroi se LDK-ja nuk do ta mbështesë me votë qeverinë Kurti katër.

Ai e bëri këtë deklaratë para se të hynte në ndërtesën e Kuvendit, ku ishte thirrur seanca për formimin e qeverisë Kurti katër.

“Natyrisht se nuk do të votojmë për qeverinë Kurti”, u shpreh Guri.

“Nuk ka takime mes Kurtit dhe Abdixhikut. Ashtu siç e dini, prej orës 14:00 është seanca dhe është e pamundur të jenë në dy vende njëkohësisht”, theksoi ai.

I pyetur nëse pritet të mbahet një seancë tjetër për çështjen e presidentit, deputeti i LDK-së tha se nuk ka dijeni për një zhvillim të tillë.

Analyst Jeton Sopa has responded to statements by Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) leader Lumir Abdixhiku regarding the possibility of holding new elections.

Sopa said that Abdixhiku had finally reflected and understood the source of the positions pushing for early elections.

“I touched my nose because I’m afraid I might jinx him. At last, LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku has reflected and understood the agendas emerging from the depths of Berat and Baton Stanishiq’s well,” Sopa wrote.

Abdixhiku said the LDK does not consider holding new elections to be a solution, stressing that most party members are not in favor of early elections.

According to him, the idea of a new electoral process is being pushed by people outside the LDK, as well as by certain factions within the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).

“I do not think we should go to elections and, as far as I understand, the majority of the LDK does not want to go to new elections,” Abdixhiku said.

The LDK leader accused commentator Baton Haxhiu and journalist Berat Buzhala of supporting an agenda aimed at organizing early elections.

“This is not the LDK’s agenda; this is the agenda of Baton Haxhiu and Berat Buzhala. Together with radical PDK actors, they have this agenda, and for the past three weeks they have been talking about holding early elections,” he said.

Abdixhiku added that views expressed within the LDK in favor of new elections have also been influenced by these factions.

“Opinions in favor of going to elections have been influenced by these factions,” the LDK leader said.

Analisti Jeton Sopa ka reaguar pas deklaratave të kryetarit të Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, lidhur me mundësinë e mbajtjes së zgjedhjeve të reja.

Sopa ka thënë se Abdixhiku më në fund ka reflektuar dhe ka kuptuar burimin e qëndrimeve që po nxisin zgjedhje të jashtëzakonshme.

“E preka hundën se po tutna po i b’i t’mësyesh. Ma n’fund paska reflektu dhe i paska kuptu kryetari i LDK-së, Lumir Abdixhiku, agjendat që dalin nga thellësia e bunarit të Beratit dhe Baton Stanishiqit”, ka shkruar Sopa.

Abdixhiku deklaroi se LDK-ja nuk e konsideron shkuarjen në zgjedhje të reja si zgjidhje, ndërsa theksoi se shumica e anëtarëve të partisë nuk janë në favor të zgjedhjeve të jashtëzakonshme.

Sipas tij, ideja për një proces të ri zgjedhor po shtyhet nga persona jashtë LDK-së, si dhe nga disa rryma brenda Partisë Demokratike të Kosovës (PDK).

“Unë nuk e mendoj se duhet të shkojmë në zgjedhje ne dhe, me aq sa e kam kuptuar, shumica e LDK-së nuk duan të shkojnë në zgjedhje të reja”, deklaroi Abdixhiku.

Kreu i LDK-së akuzoi publicistin Baton Haxhiu dhe gazetarin Berat Buzhala se po mbështesin një agjendë që synon organizimin e zgjedhjeve të jashtëzakonshme.

“Kjo nuk është agjendë e LDK-së, kjo është agjendë e Baton Haxhiut dhe Berat Buzhalës. Këta me akterë radikalë të PDK-së kanë këtë agjendë, tash e tri javë flasin për të shkuar në zgjedhje të jashtëzakonshme”, u shpreh ai.

Abdixhiku shtoi se edhe opinionet e shprehura brenda LDK-së për zgjedhjet e reja janë ndikuar nga këto rryma.

“Mendime për të shkuar në zgjedhje janë të ndikuara prej këtyre rrymave”, tha kryetari i LDK-së.

Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, has expressed concern over meetings held by Baton Haxhiu and Berat Buzhala with members of the party’s parliamentary group, particularly before their official sessions.

During an interview on Kanal 10, while commenting on internal friction over the selection of the presidential candidate, Abdixhiku suggested that the positions of some lawmakers may have originated from external influences.

The LDK leader did not provide specific details about the identities of the deputies involved, the exact timing of the meetings or the subjects discussed, but stressed that he was fully certain of the truth of his claims.

According to him, any attempt to draw the LDK into a unified opposition front would be harmful to the party and would serve to strengthen the Vetëvendosje Movement. He added that the LDK’s electorate would not tolerate their political entity becoming dependent on such an alliance.

Abdixhiku called on the party’s deputies to base their political direction on the voice of the grassroots and the people, rather than on individuals who, in his assessment, do not represent the LDK’s genuine interests.

Gjatë një interviste në Kanal 10, duke komentuar fërkimet e brendshme mbi përzgjedhjen e kandidatit presidencial, Abdixhiku sugjeroi se pozicionet e disa ligjvënësve mund të kenë origjinë nga ndikime të jashtme.

Kreu i LDK-së nuk dha detaje konkrete mbi identitetin e deputetëve të përfshirë, kohën e saktë të takimeve apo temat e bisedave, por theksoi se ka siguri të plotë për vërtetësinë e pohimeve të tij.

Sipas tij, çdo orvatje për të tërhequr LDK-në drejt një fronti të unifikuar opozitar do të ishte e dëmshme për partinë dhe do t’i shërbente forcimit të Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje. Ai shtoi se elektorati i LDK-së nuk do të toleronte varësinë e subjektit të tyre politik ndaj një aleance të tillë.

Abdixhiku u bëri apel deputetëve të partisë që orientimin e tyre politik ta bazojnë në zërin e bazës dhe të popullit, e jo tek individë që, në vlerësimin e tij, nuk mbartin interesa autentike të LDK-së.
