At around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, a 75-year-old man died at Orikum Beach, with preliminary suspicions indicating that he suffered a heart attack.

The elderly man was on vacation with his family. At around 11:30 a.m., shortly after entering the sea, he began to feel unwell and headed for the shore, where he subsequently lost consciousness.

His family members and beachgoers at the scene immediately pulled him ashore and called for help.

An ambulance from Orikum arrived at the scene, where medical personnel performed resuscitation procedures, but were unable to revive the 75-year-old.
