Seven people were injured in an accident on the Ibrahim Rugova highway, heading toward the border with Albania.

According to the Kosovo Police, three vehicles were involved in the accident, while the injured received medical assistance.

Kosovo Police spokesperson Bajram Krasniqi said that two other separate accidents occurred on the same highway, about 500 meters apart.

Police and emergency teams arrived at the scene, provided first aid, and transported the injured for medical treatment.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and causes of the accidents, while urging drivers to exercise increased caution when traveling on the highway.
