Last night, a 69-year-old man lost his life in Roskovec, reportedly after suffering a cardiac arrest while present during a sudden conflict.

According to police information, around 8:00 p.m., the citizen identified as Baftjar Vrapi, 69, a resident of Roskovec, was brought without signs of life to the Roskovec Health Center.

From initial investigative actions, it appears the elderly man was not involved in the conflict that occurred between his son and another citizen.

It is suspected that he suffered a cardiac arrest while at the scene.

The investigative team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

According to preliminary information, the elderly man is suspected, for weak motives, of first dousing his 67-year-old wife with gasoline and then setting her on fire.

After the incident, the injured woman was taken to hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance and is currently under the care of doctors.

Meanwhile, police services have put handcuffs on the 69-year-old man, and legal proceedings have been initiated against him to fully clarify the circumstances of this incident.
