Minister of Education and Sports Mirela Kumbaro has announced the exam schedule for the second session of the 2026 State Matura.

According to the schedule, the Foreign Language exam will be held on August 24, 2026, while the Albanian Language and Literature exam is scheduled for August 27, 2026.

Graduating students will sit the Mathematics exam on August 31, 2026, while the elective exam will be held on September 3, 2026.

In a social media post, Kumbaro addressed graduating students who were unable to complete their exams during the June session, encouraging them to work diligently in preparation for the autumn tests.

“Now is the time to prepare diligently and believe in yourselves,” read Minister Kumbaro’s message to graduating students.

This session allows students who did not pass or did not take part in the first-session exams to fulfill the requirements necessary to complete their secondary education.
