An accident involving two Jet Skis occurred on Lake Kukës, leaving two people with minor injuries.

According to the police, the incident occurred at around 6:15 p.m. E. T., a 29-year-old resident of Kukës, was operating one of the Jet Skis, which was also carrying E. P., 46.

While it was moving, the watercraft accidentally collided with another Jet Ski operated by B. H., who was approaching the shore to moor it.

As a result of the collision, E. T. and E. P. sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Prizren hospital and are out of danger.

In connection with the case, specialists from the Crime Investigation Department of the Kukës Police Commissariat have initiated criminal proceedings against 29-year-old E. T. for the criminal offense of “Minor injury caused by negligence.”

The two watercraft have been seized as material evidence. The investigative team, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is continuing work to document and fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
