A 17-year-old has sustained serious bodily injuries caused by being struck by the propeller of a watercraft, necessitating his immediate transfer to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

After being injured by the boat’s propeller in the water, the teenager received initial treatment at the Regional Hospital of Vlora.

The medical team there intervened to stop the bleeding and stabilized the patient to make the transfer possible.

Due to the severe trauma and the nature of the wounds, his condition required specialized care, so the decision was made to send him urgently to the capital, where he continues to receive appropriate treatment.

“We have no information about the girl’s condition, so I am very worried, because I have not received any information about tests or similar things. I have seen my daughter twice in the hospital.

My daughter did not have new clothes or a phone, only what we bought for her. When she came home in the early hours of the morning, she would not tell me where she had been; she told me she was with friends. I did not know her friends, nor their parents. I met them at the police station.

I have had no contact with the parents of the beaten girl.

For the past year, we have gone to the police several times. At school, my daughter began to show problems. The school administration threw both me and my daughter out and told us: disappear.

The psychologist laughed at us. We took my daughter to another school, but she refused to continue there. My daughter has also filed a report against her father for violence. I am asking that she be fully treated and I want to know her condition,” she said.
