Today, September 27, 2026, marks the 120th day of the citizen protest against the government. Numerous activists and citizens will once again take to the square, reiterating their demands to the ruling majority and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Protesters are calling for Prime Minister Rama’s resignation, describing it as their main demand.

Another demand is the creation of a transitional government, which protesters say would serve to lead the country during this period.

Citizens and activists are also calling for the annulment of several laws, which they say run counter to the interests of Albanian citizens.

The protests have continued for 120 days, while participants say they will continue to demand political and institutional changes.

A day earlier, activists called on SPAK to arrest Prime Minister Rama and seize his assets.
