A tragic incident has been reported in Farkë, where a 24-year-old man fatally struck a child aged around 18 months. The incident occurred yesterday evening, when citizen A. T., 24, is suspected of accidentally hitting the child while reversing his vehicle, causing her death.

As a result, the 24-year-old has been arrested by police.

Police statement:

“Citizen A. T., 24, was arrested after he is suspected of accidentally hitting a child, a girl aged around 18 months, while carrying out a reversing manoeuvre with his vehicle in Farkë yesterday evening. As a result, she lost her life,” police said.
